Yeah I don't support some methods by UEFA like banning fans from attending the match or giving financial penalties to clubs . Deducting points sounds one of the effective ways . As a football fan, I would have been pisssed off that some moron's action became the reason that my team looses points and loyal fans would make sure within themselves such things won't happen again . Same goes with racism .

Im not saying you have to throw a lighter but i shows the fans are passionate about the rivalry. Civil Police in the stadium will ruin the atmosphere and deducting points wont work as the proper fans give two shits about the teams league position, what they care about is getting some steam out and having some banter and watching couple of guys representing their local area.

Back to the civil police thing, this will stop any Ultra or hooligan culture left in spain which is already a country with piss poor atmosphere at football with Real Madrid and Barcelona as prime examples.
