According to Goal.com, Borussia Dortmund’s 23-year-old Polish striking sensation, Robert Lewandowski wants a move to the English Premier League to happen sooner rather than later.

A strong showing last season with Dortmund skyrocketed the player to
stardom in both the German Bundesliga and around Europe, and his opening
match striker against Greece in the 2012 UEFA European Championship
broadcast his talent around the globe.

He is said to be still in talks to attempt to broker an opportunity
for himself to move to England after having been linked with Manchester
United, Chelsea, Arsenal and also Tottenham since mid-June of this year.

Lewandowski would make an excellent addition to any one of those
sides, but he is expected to have to wait at least another season before
Dortmund could allow the Polish starlet to take his leave as the club
are still harboring the hope of a third straight Bundesliga title and a
strong UEFA Champions League run in 2012-13.

I know this is probably not right to compare but it reminds me of RVP. One amazing season with the team that made him and was loyal to him and he feels he is way better now.

Why would he want to leave Dortmund? They have a great team, a great coach, the best fans. He's guaranteed a starting position and I'm sure they're willing to up his wages if that's an issue. I just don't understand wtf is with players these days.

Out of the clubs mentioned, the only one I could see him going to is
Spurs because they really need to sort out there striker situation. But
there is no way Dortmund is going to let him leave because they're light on options up front.

Perhaps he could be a great alternative for Berbatov, but then again, Spurs are in urgent need for another striker.

then again I think that spurs are a bit low on the food chain to sign Lewandowski. Maybe Dortmund make a change beetween Lewandowski and RVP with a little bit of money in beetween..

@knibis: Not if they sell Modric. Then they can buy him, but I'm sure AVB is more after Hulk now.

Money usually gets a lot of good players. Proof: PSG
