Ranking The Top 3 Coaches Managers
Madridista11 10 years ago Edited
Real Madrid, Somalia 41 831

For this list, I've compiled the top 3 coaches that have been doing well with their teams recently. Remember, this is ONLY my opinion. Please feel free to share your ideas..

Honorable Mentions:

1- Nuno

2- Ronald Koeman

TOP 3 MANAGERS:

1- Luis Enrique

I don't know what to say, really. This man went from an undr-dog to a top-dog. Congrats for finding your true form, Luis. Can't wait for Hell Clasico ;)

Rating: 5 out of 5

2-Jose Mourinho

Say whatever you want to say about this guy, you just can't deny his brilliance. Sure, he might "Park the Bus" but his mind games and his winning percentage is what put him on this list.

Rating: 4.7 out of 5

3- Arsene Wenger

Sure, his lost against Monaco was a bit shocking, otherwise, he has been killing it recently!

Rating: 4.3 out of 5.

What do you think? Did I miss anybody?

Wenger in top 5 managers in the world? What is this, 2003? Wenger is a joke now.

Top 5 managers would include the likes of Mourinho, Guardiola, Del Bosque, Ancelotti, Simeone, Klopp, Low, Van Gaal, Conte, etc. Perhaps one may even be able to point to Sabella, who's rigid defensive tactics helped Argentina all the way to the final.

Read the top part thoroughly before you comment. I clearly stated "Recently" meaning the past couple months, meaning the beginning of 2015 till now... I hope you got the point. and Guardiola? Loool no. I never, ever, ever ever ever ever EVER thought he was top notch!

Don't take this wrong, Pep Guardiola is good, maybe even better than good. However, I just feel he hasn't proved his worth YET. Frank Rijkaard made that Barcelona team. He was the one who gave Xavi and Ineista a chance by giving them more minutes, knowing that a star like Deco was in the starting lineup. Pep took that team and added his touch to it. After that, he signed with Bayrn, another team that was built by a great coach, jupp heynckes, and also added a little bit to it. You see what I mean?

@Dynastian Our form is amazing though... and we have had good transfers. Definitely not top 3 but Wenger isn't a joke.

I think Luis Enrique did really good job recently. Barca took top, their play is fun to watch, they score much and don't concede much goals. Wenger and Mourinho deserve to be in top 5. Wenger's team was amazing until Monaco, but hope we can keep the form. Koeman and Nuno deserve mention, but Weinzierl (Augsburg) should be up here.

I would put Rodgers above Wenger, Liverpool at the moment seemed to have finally found their feet since the departure of luis suarez.

Great point, I've forgotten that he has not lost any game since the beginning of the year, he's for sure up there no doubt.

@Horse I don't think you got the point of the post.

This is a list of managers who have been on fire ever since 2015 started, so I wouldn't put Del Bosque casue he hasn't played an international game this year.

Klopp and Ancelotti should not be included because they haven't been in form. Rodgers should be added up top.

Maybe it's more clear now, sorry if it was complicated to understand

I would never put this seasons Mou on this list.. Chelsea could have had an even bigger lead in the league and could have been alive in the FA cup

and our Nuno E. Santo has been good but far from amazing..

Simeone is always gonna be on a list like this imo and a forgotten coach who has done brilliantly is Rayo's Paco Jemes, always stays firm in his tiki-taka possession game and have not only managed to keep Rayo (with one of La Ligas absolutely smallest budgets) up since 2011 but he has also finished in good positions like 8th in 2012/13.

You also have to mention Augsburgs coach Markus Weinzierl and ofcourse Wolfsburgs Dieter Hecking who has got Wolfsburgs hollow defence under controll and improved the offense making them a 2nd place team

Ya I don't follow the Italian, German, nor the French leagues. But I must say that Lyon and Marseilles are fantastic

Rudi Garcia, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Viktor Skrypnyk.. all better than Luis Enrique.

Also, people saying Mourinho is not in the top 3 should consider watching other sports...

In the past months since January .

  1. Luis Enrique - great turn around

  2. Jose Mourinho

  3. Brendan Rogers - Completely different Liverpool . I just can't believe how different they are playing . All down to Rogers and his big balls to change philosophy when stakes are high . If this Liverpool played Group stage , they would have been in elimination round .

Honorable mentions :

  1. Arsene Wenger - even though there was a defeat with Monaco , he did turned around Arsenal and excluding CL match they have been fantastic .

  2. Dieter Hecking - Wolfsburg is just joy to watch . Just like with Liverpool amazing transformation from boring to one of the most exciting performers in Bundesliga.

  3. Vincenzo Montella

@Tuanis: How is this you consider Luis Enrique is not in top 3? I have watched A LOT of Barca games this season too and Luis has done an incredible job. His rotation, motivation and helping players have been great. Barca's this year has been very enjoyable to watch again, fast pace, a lot of diversity in attack... Despite Xavi and Iniesta have been aging...
