Ramires dive vs Derby in FA Cup

I hate when players dive, last week Oscar dived vs Southampton for a penalty but was rightly booked by the referee, a few days ago Ramires dived vs Derby in the FA cup match. The thing that disgusts me about this dive is how Ramires appeals and disagrees with the referee when getting booked, the Derby player CLEARLY doesnt even touch him and pulled his leg and Ramires was looking for contact which did not even happen. Ramires is a great player and i noticed he dives regularly which i hate him for most i remember he also dived vs West Brom and got a late penalty so they can draw 2-2. Disgusting.

Strangely enough, Pepe hasn't had a single moment of controversy since Ancelotti has come and Mourinho has left. Maybe @Tdot is right. :/

And then he has the nerve to deflect blame by saying "other players do it and don't get booked." Mourinho is such a pain.

I think it's everywhere. If anyone wants to talk about diving then search the net and see if your players are innocent before talking about the others. There are enough videos for all the teams apparently on the net. To protect yourself from an injury it's totally fine to dive and jump. but to blatantly do it without a single threat then it's a disgrace.

and this is for the "It's a Mourinho thing"

@Alex

There are, of course, instances where a player expects contact due to similar situations he's been in before, but if never comes and he looks as if he "dived". But yeah, I completely understand where you're coming from. If a player simulates when there is no immediate threat of a foul, it is completely disgraceful. And don't worry, we're not saying that our players are innocent and that Chelsea players are the only guilty party here. We're just pointing out that teams under Mourinho do indeed tend to dive. Especially recently with Madrid and (now) Chelsea.

Does my "abandon thread" gif mean nothing to you guys? What a pointless discussion this is going to turn out to be.

@Dynastian I know mate, but I never said that Chelsea never dives, Drogba used to do it many times. but in every club there is that player that dives whether Mourinho is the manager or not. I just didn't like the "It's a Mourinho thing" Because it's not.

Barca diving situation has been reduced a lot, you dont see them diving as often as previous seasons, specially Busquets who I personally hate because of his diving skills.

The most regular diving I see now a days happens in EPL, not on La Liga anymore.

From the perspective of a Real Madrid fan, I can assure you that Barcelona players have cut down on the diving quite a bit. Yes, Busquets and Alves still go down regularly, and even Neymar every once in a while, but it's a hell of a lot less compared to when Guardiola was manager.
