Guys, lets think rationally for second, I'm sure there was an objective here... some kind of inteligent reason for this guy to do this... Yeah, actually forget it, I got nothing. :O

So, from experience, players do try to get you to react and take you out of the game mentally. Grabs, pulls, pokes, spiting, trips, elbows, I mean it goes on and on.

Thumbing is a real thing and boy will that set people off. I know because I got some red cards for fighting in a few of these situations.

While 16, we played a match in Mexico and I was one of the only "white" guys, I got thumbed and it was on! I totally freaked out and went after the guy, who was about 24. Red card, ejected and escorted from the stadium.
