Here we go!

Zidane. Just look back at his performance in WC 2006 against Ronaldinho (The best player in the world at the time) and Brazil. Not to mention he single-handedly destroyed Xavi and Spain in that same tournament at the age of 34. Also, he has won the world player of the year 3 times, whereas Ronaldinho has only managed to do that twice, which is still impressive.

@ramaboy: I like Ronaldhino. He's a legend. But I love Zidane. He's an even bigger legend imo.

I have to go with Zidane, too.

Ronaldinho had the talent to be more, but wasn't disciplined enough. He was like the ultimate freestyler with the ball. But Zidane was an accomplished artist; the Picasso of football, if you will.

Both great, obviously. But Zizou will be in the top 5 of all time.

Good comparison, but I'll have to agree with everyone and go with Zizo. The interesting thing is that Zidane is actually quite tall, but was one of the greatest & most elegant players with a ball at his feet (not common).
But I guess the most telling thing is to ask yourself, if you were in a one-off cup final who would you rather have in your team? My answer would be Zidane.
As Lodatz said, if Ronaldinho took care of himself better he may have gone on to outshine him. But as it is, Zidane takes the cake.

Zidane 100% why ??
1)because he scores in big games (FINALS)
2) he stopped at the highest level : world cup final
3) his leading abilities are perfect.
Ronaldinho is a Barça legend, the most spectacular player in football history. but Zidane is zidane :)

@quikzyyy

I agree with quikzyyy. There's no point in comparing Messi and Ronaldo anymore because there IS no comparison. Messi is better, and his 4 Ballon d'Ors speak for themselves. Done.

Well... you guys all think Zidane :) It might have been 50-50 if Ronaldinho stopped partying and focused on his career...
