Note: Chapecoense went from Serie D to Seria A in 4 years. Their goalkeeper, Nivaldo, is one of those players who started with minimal salary and support. They fought all their way to the top, and the Copa Sudamericana final was the "game of their lives in 43 years of club history".

This is sad. Very sad.

Damn, my mom just told me the news this morning, very sad indeed, my thought with the family of the people on the plane and all the fan of the team. This remind me of Grande Torino superga air disaster and munich air disaster, real sad man, even more when you think if was just before one of the game of their life. :( RIP

@quikzyyy If this is real, then it is very generous from them, not really gonna bring back the human who died in the accident though. :(

Quikzy, that unfortunately is a fake news. PSG officially stated that it was a lie started by some Brazilian radio station and propagated by SportBible or something similar.

@raimondo Yeah, not very suprising there, this felt exactly like some kind of fake that would got by journalist. A shame, really but not suprising in my opinion. Thank for setting thing right and telling us the truth lad.

@SoccerBoss That is very nice from Liverpool, hopefully, knowing their story touched a lot of big team around the world will help some of the family and fan get through this... :(
