Such a sad event. Thoughts to those who lost their lives and their families. Also hoping for better recovery for the survivors.
Turns out the plane ran out of fuel.
How does that even happen in these days. Pathetic.
RIP :(
So tragic this news. Very emotional seeing the response of the football world. It is a good reminder that at the end of the day, even though football fans will talk a lot of $hit about each other, as fans of the sport, we come together and stand as one when it counts
"Atletico Nacional of Colombia, offered to concede the tie to allow Chapecoense to be awarded the championship.

Wow, that is great to hear that, good to see life is still more important than trophy, its also a nice chance they give the team to re-build, class act from the other teams.
Chapecoense has been officially awarded the title of Copa Sudamericana 2016
@quikzyyy Cheer to that. Hope those that died are celebrating together in heaven and that their family will find some comfort in this.
brilliant news!
A plane carrying 81 people, including a top Brazilian football team, has crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin in Colombia, officials say.
Reports say there are six survivors. The plane reported electrical problems.
The chartered aircraft, flying from Bolivia, was carrying members of the Chapecoense football team, airport officials said.
The team was due to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, against Medellin team Atletico Nacional.
The first leg of the final of the cup, South America's second most important club competition, was scheduled for Wednesday, but has now been suspended.
