Van Persie. Luis suarez showed better individual skills this term, but Van Persie showed up in big games time and time again, especially in the earlier parts of the season. And if you want to mention consistency, just remember that Suarez hasn't scored in the PL in over a month and only leads Van Persie by a 1 goal tally, so the golden boot isn't decided yet.

How can people say hazard? Sure, he's a great talent, and for the first 5/6 weeks he was absolute class. But he hasn't shown the same form since then, he has been far too inconsistent, IMO. I believe Michu deserves his place far more. Okay, some games he does show his quality and puts in fantastic performances (FA cup Vs. United?) But most of the time when i watch Chelsea play, he doesn't live up to his £35 odd million price tag. Bale IMO would deserve it more than hazard. Im pretty sure ill get hate for this off the Chelsea fans, but hey, i like grapes.
