In the spirit of the world cup, Im gonna try and list every player who ever scored in a world cup opening game.

1930- France-Mexico and USA-Belgium simultaneous games.
first ever world cup goalscorer- Lucien Lauren -France 1- Mexico 0

UPDATE:
In quite the contrast to Tshabalala's stunner, this is how we opened the 2014 WC in Brazil.

Then Neymar scored for 1-1

Neymar with the penalty

and Oscar seals the three points.
