@Lodatz: I rather suggest you take notice of the reigning FA Youth Cup champs ;). Jokes aside, I would say the most dangerous teams in my opinion are Sporting, Chelsea, Ajax, Spurs, and Barca. Maybe Arsenal and Juventus as an honorable mention.

I didn't realize Sporting were making a splash -- any memorable prospects?

Cristiano Ronaldo, Moutinho, Nani, Figo, Quaresma, and some top prospects who are now already in first team or still in the U-21 and playing in the NextGen.

Sorry, I don't know anything about their NextGen team. I only know they were first in their group table.

@Lodatz,

I can tell you this. Sporting has one of the greatest academies in the world. I'm sure you know the likes of C. Ronaldo, Nani, Moutinho, Danny, Quaresma, Simão, Figo -- all players whom were produced by Sporting over the recent years.

A couple of interesting players they have on a current basis are Júlio Alves, Eric Dier, Pedro Mendes and Alberto Coelho, the latter known as Betinho.

Last time Sporting and Liverpool met, the Lions crushed Liverpool 8-1 (5-1 home and 0-3 away), so I'm hoping they'll give it a replay. Watch out for Inter by the way. They won it last year.

@Golden: They sure did, but we also beat them 7-1 this year, so I'm not sure if Inter are going to pull it out. But, wow, 8-1 against Liverpool? That's crazy.

I'd love to hear more about these guys at Sporting. Thanks for the info. :) I really think NextGen is one of the most awesome things in football, at the moment. Fantastic idea.

@Lodatz: I only watch highlights. Do you know where I can actually watch the full match live?

I don't. :( I can only get highlight snippets too.

@Lodatz,

No problem with the info. :) Here's a link you can try about Sporting's NextGen:

Oh yes, I heard you beat Inter 7-1. Fantastic performance by Spurs, but
actually, it was last year. Inter bounced back and won the whole thing. And when Sporting managed to beat Liverpool quite impressively 8-1, you're right, it was pretty crazy.

@GunnerAFC,

Yupp, that's right!

@Golden: Oh it was last year? My bad. Still, at least we beat Barca in December!

We had to get Inter... hope our few shining prospects pull the rest of the mediocre youth through.

Aston Villa beat Chelsea 2-0 in the final. Surprised by Villa, they had a poor season in EPL so far but I guess the youth is looking promosing for them.
