@Dynastian, yeah you've made good point, and I don't want to be biased here, but both Martinez and Moyes are very impressive managers in their own ways, so deciding who's the better manager is subjective because like I said, it's way too early to make a certifying judgement on these two. However, from what I've seen so far, here's my take:

If we are talking about the season so far, Martinez is definitely edging Moyes. He's turning Everton into serious contenders for a Europa league spot (if not, CL) next season. He completely revolutionized Everton's play sale - it's very attractive and effective against most teams in the Premier League, including us. Last summer, Martinez was able to pin the tactical issues Everton were facing, so he snagged up many great players on loan, like Lukaku, Deulofeu (sorry, I can't spell his name), and let's not forget the effective English boulder Gareth Barry. Frankly, all these three can easily join United, as Lukaku is a deadlier striker with a better eye on the ball than Danny Welbeck and arguably Chicharito, Deulofeu arguably possesses a more explosive pace with much greater crosses than Young (and he doesn't dive), and Barry for Cleverley....it's bloody obvious there. Moyes on the other hand did an absolute shite job in the summer, by doing simply nothing at the end except doing the panic signing of Fellaini (again, Martinez on the double win), who honestly doesn't fit well with the club. Because of this, Untied only had 5-6 good games so far this season, whereas Everton had a lot of more, so kudos to Martinez on his job so far.

However, the reason why I'm still keep my hope up for Moyes is because he is all about stability. I have an old friend from Manchester, England, who has been an Evertonian for more than 25 years now, and he said that before Everton hired Moyes, Everton were once a 'Wigan' - a club with a very tight budget and no certain ambitions but to keep their place in the highest division. He not only save them from bottom pit hell, but what knew that he was able to turn the Blue into one of England's biggest underdogs. You can only worship Moyes's achievements over the last 10 years, especially when he was able to triumph over the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sunderland, Newcastle, West Ham, and West Brom (clubs with a much higher net spend and budget) that have been relegate during his time. He may be a cautionary man, who cared much about stabiity (someone perfect for Everton during that time) but imagine with that quality in a club that already has the big stuff for him to lay his hands on (money, history and such). Don't get me wrong, I am well aware that Martinez also carries the qualities of stability and control, I can't forget about him saving Wigan out of relegation with similar scenarios.

However, again, you make a good point about Martinez playing good football, but one thing I'm worried about there is how long will that last? Martinez is definitely taking great risks to bring Everton where they are at now, but I remember a certain Dane that did the same thing by taking over a certain Northen Irishman of a Welsh club. He took his newly appointed club to greater heights with his attractive football tactics, with even their very first Carling Cup in the club's cabinet. We all thought that the great Dane was going to make his new club the real deal in the future, while we constantly looked down on that Norther Irishman with his big club when he ended up coming 7th in the table last season. But where are we now? Are we now claiming that Michel Laudrup is doing a better job than Brendan Rodgers? This dilemma could repeat itself (as it did many times), except with two very different people we are talking about now.

My point is, it's too early to decide, but I get where you are coming from, Dynastian, I really do, because Martinez also went on a road of hardship just like Moyes, and right now he is making his U-turn, but will it last? Only time will tell (for Martinez I mean, lol). I too, as a football fan, care about good football, which was why I kept complaining about United needing to change their tactics and formation in order to fit into Mata's and Kagawa's play style - something more attractive and permanent (with the help of our money and history that can attract more great footballers with high qualities). The reason why people are complaining about Moyes at this moment is because he is filling in Ferguson's shoes...bloody Ferguson for god sakes, arguably one of the greatest managers of all time. Hope you understand where I'm coming from.
