WOW! its a dream come true!!
It's been a long time coming!
Finally like the NBA all star weekend, but it would be more significant if the teams were from single leagues, then we'll see how good a premier league all star team is compared to la liga's
Hell yeah...
rooney for aguero and xabi alonso for silva , that would be one hell of a game
You really don't like City, do you? Rooney can go for Di Maria :)
But Ibra, Ronaldo and Messi in one team, who will take a penalty?
Quikzy +1 . Leaving out Aguero is no brainer. Rooney for Di maria instead .
Sergio Ramos will take penalty .
Sergio Ramos will take penalty .
John Terry for the other team :)
Lol i was going to just say that !
Sorry to ruin the party but look here:
@Quikzyyy
"But Ibra, Ronaldo and Messi in one team, who will take a penalty?"
Lol, obviously not Messi. He has a conversion ratio of a good 10% lower than both CR7 and Zlatan.
Fifa already denied it :( unfortunately
I don't understand why they deny this. I am sure of that this will be one of the most profitable games for UEFA considering all of the CL Final viewers will watch this too.
I think it is for political reasons . It will create sense of segregation in europe.
I can very well understand why they denied this! It starts with this and then grows and all of a sudden there are all-star games all over the place! Even though I love the idea of having footballs two greatest players playing for the same team it feels plastic and shallow. Let me develop that.. teams being put together for the sole purpose of entertaining the crowd for a short moment screams of superficiality. Feels too much like the US mindset in sports..
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo could play alongside one another in a UEFA All-Star match showcasing the best of European-based talent, according to reports in Spain.
They would play for 'Team South' - comprised of stars from La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 - against a similar 'North' dream team from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Russian Premier League.
Mundo Deportivo report that a marketing company has approached UEFA and proposed the annual fixture, which is inspired by the NBA All-Star Game between the Western and Eastern Conferences.
The players involved would be chosen by an online fan poll, with no more than three players from any club side. But despite such restrictions, the proposed match would throw up the tantalising prospect of Barcelona;s Messi and Neymar joining forces with Real Madrid stars Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
Other possible stars in the 'South' team include Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The 'North' side could feature Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Manchester United winger Angel di Maria and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
share ur best "north" & "south" formation guys , let the game begin :D
