no idea but this surely is the biggest match in the Primeira in years
Indeed. They've named it #MatchOfTheCentury in Portugal. :p
Go Porto!
GO benf..PORTO! :P :))
GO PORTO!
Lineups are as expected, except Nicolas Otamendi replacing Maicon for Porto and Ola John replacing Cardozo for Benfica. Lima plays as a lone striker, I guess they're resting Cardozo for the EL final.
Go Benfica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Golden, Cardozo isn't starting? WTF!
Rested, I believe. Off to TalkRoom!
Go Benfica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 of europes biggest teams...
Looks like the Goal of he Week contest may be over early, after that epic strike from Kelvin. :D
League winning strike!, Benfica had everything in their hands and then they draw against a bottom team at home last week
Brilliant strike by Kelvin. Can't thank that boy enough for securing that win. So crucial!! Although it was one of the poorest Clássicos in recent years, the final goal just made it a match to remember. SO HAPPY! ;D
watch from 1:58, dat coach reaction:(

^ Wonderful pictures. I feel for the Benfica coach, I really do, he looked like he got destroyed inside. Crazy night.
Hehehe.
I wonder if the ball-boy was tempted to throw it at him...
Haha! He actually looks a bit sad. Maybe he felt for J. Jesus?
Benfica just lost the cup final to Vitória. That means from being close to win the Europa League, the Portuguese League and the Portuguese Cup, they've now lost it all. Poor, poor club.
All right, DonAndres suggested I should start a new thread regarding this game, so I did.
The game will be played tonight at 21:30 English time at the Estádio do Dragão. It's the 29th round (of 30) in the Primeira Liga, and will probably decide who will grab the title this season in Portugal.
Benfica currently tops the table with as many games played as Porto, the former having 74 points, the latter 72. This means a win or a draw will probably ensure Benfica the title, whereas a win for Porto will do the opposite.
Here's a list of the probable lineups:
Porto
Helton
Danilo - Maicon - Mangala - Sandro
González - Fernando - Moutinho
Varela - Martínez - Rodríguez
Benfica
Artur
Pereira - Lusiáo - Garay - Almeida
Matic
Salvio - Pérez - Gaitán
Lima - Cardozo
Who do you think will walk away with the victory, and thus very likely the championship? Of course I'll have to go for Porto, but I'm certain it will be, as always, a cracker of a match. :)
