Marko Marin moves on loan to Sevilla

The 24-year-old Germany international moved to Stamford Bridge from Werder Bremen last summer, but the capture of compatriot Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen means he has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho.A statement on the official website read: "Chelsea Football Club and Sevilla Futbol Club have reached an agreement for the season-long loan of Marko Marin, subject to the completion of legal documentation and a medical."Marin made 16 appearances for the Blues last term after a hamstring injury early in the season delayed his competitive debut. Source: http://eurosport.yahoo.com/news/premier-league-marin-moves-sevilla-loan-150718625.html I believe it's an avid replacement for Jesus Navas.

I think it fits him perfectly as La Liga is not as physical as Bundesliga or EPL. Plus, he will hopefully take up Navas' place for the season. Good luck, Marin!

Please don't tell me that you guys are about to pretend that La Liga is as physical as the PL or Bundesliga.

There's no need for you to go Full Retard.

In other words, you're about to derail yet another thread by pretending something that is not true.

TROLL DETECTED.

Now kindly piss off so that adult conversation can continue, where we recognize that there are differences between leagues, and physicality is one of them.

I wish I could thumbs up Lodatz first comment a thousand times. Realest thing that I've read today.

Lodatz calm down man. No one said that La Liga was more physical than the BPL. It's obviously not. I simply meant that despite of that there are some players in La Liga who are very physical.

@mladen: He was ruined before he even came to Chelsea. So point the blame on his fatigue and bad luck with injuries, not on Chelsea.

@TheTruth: Then why bother saying it in the first place? All Vendetta said was that La Liga is less physical. Why couldn't he let that go? Why did he have to try and argue it? What was the point in naming one or two players who happen to be more physical than the rest?

And why not just say that when I first challenged it?

Answers: because he was just being his usual self.

@Vendetta: I think it's a fair point to mention the benchwarming. Chelsea have similar issues to Madrid in that regard. :/

@Lodatz: I don't think you can blame Chelsea at all. Marin's buy came in January 2012, when all hope was lost for our season. No one believed we would win the Champions League with Barcelona running amok. Not even Chelsea fans believed they would win it. So we bought Marin because as our last option to a winger/attacking midfielder. Hell even De Bruyne was brought in because we thought he would be part of our aging squad by next season. Then the Munich Miracle came and we won 47 million pounds from it with the additional prize money for winning the FA Cup. We had the opportunity to sign players far better than him. Anyone with the money would have signed Hazard or Oscar and bench Marin.

And make Oscar play, what was it, 50+ games this year, instead of using a great back-up...? ;)

Dude, Oscar only started in 33 games. What are you on about O.o. And btw, Moses was his backup.

Dude, Oscar played in 64 matches for Chelsea, this season.

You'd rather have Moses than Marin? O.o

Can I know the source you use that says Oscar played 64 games for Chelsea? Also, yes I would definitely play Moses over Marin. Marin was given 16 appearances this season and he barely looked dangerous or could defend. Moses on the other hand knows how to trackback and is dangerous upfront as well. Hell, even Benayoun was a better choice. Nothing against Marin, I really do hope he proves us wrong at Sevilla. I just don't see him ever being a squad rotation player at Chelsea.

In this case, I'm going by Wikipedia.

Don't forget the CL, EL and cup matches.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree about Moses vs Marin, but I somehow think that young Marco could have been used for at least some of those 64... ;)

I have to go with V on that. I'm so happy that Marin went out on loan to regain form and fitness. Anyone would pick Moses any day over Marin in that role.
