You know... I'm sure Roman would be able to change his mind and let him join Chelsea instead. He just needs a ride in his limo... for a talk... yeah, a talk.

I understand your frustration Lodatz, but if the Ukranian league isn't good enough for him, as you say, would the U20 Premier league be good enough?
^^ I don't see why he need be confined to it. We need players for 4 different competition, including the Europa League. Another thing I think his father should consider is that we're not shelling out 15m for a 17-year old we intend to merely 'try out' in our youth system.
This is the type of player who in a season or two could be the player our whole team is built around. If he's really as good as his father believes. Spending a year learning to get along with his new club, new squad and new manager would be ideal for such a role, and such a future. Especially since the squad in question is one of the best in (arguably) the best and most competitive league in the world.
Apparently Spurs and the family have agreed a week to think about the matter and chat after, but II think the dad is being far too demanding, all things considered.
I mean, hell, even Messi's dad didn't expect the Earth from Barcelona for his son. He expected (and wanted) his son to earn his way through the ranks.

Congratulations, Spurs. You have just made yourself contenders for the EPL (or at least top three) with all these summer signings so far.
Arsenal fans on reading about this
^LOL, I am definitely making a H.itler finds out video on Arsenal not signing anyone after seeing that gif

Done. Please note I don't mean to offend any team I mentioned in this video. It's all just banter in the end ;)
Hey everyone. :) I am going to be utterly self-indulgent here, and start a thread solely about Tottenham, and the players we have in our squad for this coming season. I plan to gather as much video footage as possible to showcase what I think is seriously shaping up to be the 2nd or 3rd best squad in the country.
Just to start us off, I'll go through what we now have at our disposal, in terms of our DM and CM roster. Feast your eyes, gentlemen (and gentlewomen):
DM: Sandro
Was undoubtedly the most feared DM in the league before his injury. He's fast, an intelligent passer, a ferocious tackler, and is skilled with the ball at his feet to boot. Oh, and every now and again he scores a belter from distance.
CDM/CM: Paulinho
In case you missed his imperious domination of the midfields in the Confederations Cup, here's some glimpses of him running the show in Brazil. Strong, athletic, excellent passer, great shot, not afraid to tackle, and a pretty good dribber; worth every penny of his 17m pound price-tag.
CM/CAM: Dembele
The Moose has pretty much got everything you want in the centre of the park -- he's agile, clever, physical, likes a good tackle, and due to some fantastic dribbling ability is someone that no-one seems able to actually get the ball off. Oh, and throw in a great shot, too. He was shackled a bit last season when Sandro got injured, but expect him to be back to rampaging form this season, now that we have two Brazilian samurai to cover things at the back.
