As everyone expected. The twenty-five year old Polish striker Lewandowski, after a bunch of transfer rumors joins Bayer Munich. I think it's a stupid decision by the Pole because he joined his clubs rival team. What do you think ?

Do people still care about this transfer? It's been announced he'd go to Bayern since last year. Why are people still making a fuss about it.

How on earth players like Lewan and Goetze go from one club to another considering they are rivals? It's not like Dortmund is a bad team or anything like that, I see no reason other than money for these disgusting type of players to switch clubs like they switch boots.

Bayern shoudnt be the one to hate on, they just bid for the players, just as RM does and many other teams with money and power, which I have learn no to hate on. Hate on the players who have no shame.

^Why hate on the players? It is their job in the end, not a game for fun. And in your job you should always aim for a more successful place that offers a higher salary and better options.

@Tuanis just like RVP went to United, they went to that club so they can win trophies.

For a player to think about football just as a job is meaningless. It is actually a game and it was created for having fun for those who play it and for those who watch. Changing your job only considering the salary you would eventually get means you are a very shallow person who cares about nothing else but its own wellbeing and fortune. I know Im getting a little dramatic but life and specially football shouldn't be anything close to what Ven said. Players who play for the money and not for the entertainment of it shouldn't be playing at all, the thrill of playing and having fun is the reason why regular people become football players.

In the other hand... Van Persie's case was different but still a disgrace, United and Arsenal dont have such a strong rivalry as BVB an Bayern, and also Lewandowski could eventually achieve mayor trophies and had already achieved some, not like Van Persie.

^In that case shouldn't the rivalry of Arsenal and United be equal to BVB and Bayern's? It should actually be stronger than theirs considering you have a much longer history against United.

People consider Bayern and BVB to be fierce rivals but they were never "rivals" to begin with until Dortmund's recent success. They only began their "rivalry" which was more of a competition between the two than hate 3-4 years ago because of BVB's threat to the Bundesliga trophy. In fact, when BVB were bankrupt in 2003, Bayern were the first club to support them and lent them some money.

Bayern aren't BVB's strongest rivals, Schalke are. Bayern are merely a competitive rival to BVB. Lewandowski's transfer to Bayern from Dortmund is exactly the same as RVP's transfer to ManUtd from Arsenal.

They both went for the salary like I said but that's not all. Like proper football fans, they've dreamed of winning the big trophies and playing among the best team. RVP and Lewa went for the trophies and for the better team, not just the salary.

FOR FREE...

This should be in the title...

And this is by far the worst transfer for Dortmund...

I don't know why people keeping saying that RVP went for money, when it was pretty clear he went to play for SAF and win a trophy for the first time since his first season in England. It's also the case that until this season, Arsenal had been way behind United for years, and he was likely fed up. It's not the same as Lewa and Goetze jumping hip from the only domestic rival Bayern have had in recent years, just for the cash, and making the Bundesliga even more of a 1-horse league...

Wish we had a Munich or Dortmund supporter to give us thoughts on this transfer...
Which makes me think, why is there such a low number of Bundesliga followers on this forum?

^ Is Reus next ?
Sad day for Dortmund and Football in general, Dortmund gave their players all what they needed, Love money fame....
How on earth they went to the direct rival ? At least change the league.
When we sold Figo to RM, Barça were obliged to let him go because of money, and he was hated until now but in a financial term, saved the club.
What those players gave back to BVB ? Its the dream for every Bundesliga player to play at Bayern but last year, i understand Gotze because he is still young, but Lewa, how can you do that to your fans ?

WOOOOOOW He will join Bayern for FREE and still play for BVB until june. If i was a BVB fan, i would not want to see his traitor face even in the bench.
Bvb fans are voted the best fans 2013 in the whole world, too bad their players does not deserve their support.
