Lewandowski: I'm signing for Bayern in January

The Bavarians have remained the favourites to sign the Pole, however, and following the Schwarzgelben's 2-0 DFB-Pokal second-round win over 1860 Munich, Lewandowski confirmed that the Allianz Arena will be his destination and that he will sign a pre-contract in January to join next summer.

When asked if he would confirm his move to Pep Guardiola's men in January by Sport1, he responded: "Yes, because then I can officially sign the contract."

No, it would. Neither Mandzukic nor Robert are fit for the bench. They obviously wouldn't be playing together, so that means that they'll have to rotate. Mandzukic and Martinez were the final piece of the puzzle for Bayern, and Gomez was deemed a surplus to requirements.

It will end up being the same situation with Lewandowski. It'll be like Benzema and Higuain all over again. One of them will have to leave.

This is not new to Bayern. They took Gomez right after Stuttgart won the title in 2007. They've taken Klose when Werder Bremen were legitimately challenging them for the title. They've done this with Neuer when Schalke were becoming a threat to their dominance. Now Gotze and Lewandowski. Moral of the story is if you don't want your best players taken by Bayern, don't even attempt to challenge them, because all they can do is get stronger while making you exponentially weaker. It is a form of monopoly at its worse.

+1 TheGame.

The best scenario to happen for Dortmund if we can convince Lewandoski to join us for 200K a week and also for 30-40 millions rather than just giving him away to their rival for "Free" and strengthen them.

Isn't it a bit easy every single player of Dortmund goes to Bayern? Do they have a deal or something? Why did Gotze needed to go there? Dortmund is no trash. Lewa, why? Does he feel bad and BVB or he just think like that

" Well, it seems that they are better than us, so I go there"?
