Xavi plays many inch perfect long balls but it's not seen from those who don't watch Barcelona play because they are known for only short and quick passing

Hehe, I watch Barcelona a lot, too. Yes, he's good at them, which one might expect since he (by his own admission) studied Paul Scholes, but there's really no comparison with the long-balls that Gerrard and Lampard have done.

Yeah Chelsea would be stupid as hell to let go of Lampard.

Where do you people get your info (O.o). Frank plays nearly the same role as Gerrard and Xavi. He plays CM and occasionally as DM. The only time he played AM was when he was 23-26 and that wasn't all the time either. You guys most likely see his remarkable goal tally and think he plays attacking-mid.

This is how I see it:

  1. Lampard/Gerrard (It's impossible to pick who is better. Obviously, Gerrard is more liked in England than Lamps)
  2. Scholes
  3. Xavi

^It's always fun looking back at other's opinions and how it compares to what really happened. Like how people actually thought Hazard was to rot and fail at Chelsea once he announced he joined us.
