Depor have been relegated, and will go back down to the Segunda at the same time as sociedad celebrating Champions league qualification on there pitch.. very sad end and maybe the start of a very horrible period for Depor.. the future looks bleak for them while sociedad can look forward to dining with Europe's greatest as nothing can look better right now.

Final whistle in Seville.. 4-3 for Sevilla over Valencia.. Valencia had the game in there hands and they failed to deliver, handing qualification to Real Sociedad and having to settle for a Europa league place.

Sevilla however now is awaiting the appeals of Rayo Vallecano and Malaga to see if they go to the Europa league.

Mallorca also sinking in relegation on there own pitch despite winning against Valladolid with a 4-2 scoreline..

Mallorca have been in the Primera since 1997 and this relegation must be a very horrible one to bear.. Mallorca in those over 15 years in the primera straight, they have been, cup finalists, cup winners, and European conteders.. but now will be embarked in a battle to return to those days.

Getafe and Levante will not be going to Europe even if both Vallecano and Malaga lose there appeals as they both failed to win..

Getafe never deserved it but the sad part will be the demise of levante, who flew high in the first half of the season but completely collapsed into rubble in the second half of the season and gave up any aspiration for the season.

both teams will need to do alot of rebuilding for next year as both seasons have been abysmal.

WOW. BOIXOSNOIS, you are an excellent Commentator! You're better than those guys on the sports websites lol.
I feel a bit sad for Valencia, but they had their destiny in their own hands. I hope this doesn't lead to them selling their players.
On the other hand, Sociedad have been excellent all season and they can be happy to have a chance at the CL and maybe they will do well in it (as Malaga did in their virgin season).
I doubt Malaga will win the appeal for next season and fully expect Sociedad to be in the qualification rounds... which is bad news for Arsenal as Valencia wuld've been seeded higher and not play us us whereas Sociedad aern't and may play us.
