Most likely like another brilliant marketing campaign from Nike . Both players represent Nike . Sounds way more believable than their "honest" jokes to each other . Shirt is from nike and it has a big nike sign , paper wrap is nike and even " dare zlatan " sounds like " Just do it "

Zlatan : People who say the opposite ( Messi is the best ) dont know anything about Football, or dont know what they are talking about.
I will add haters and buthurt fans.
I see Chelsea fans talking about Hazard like a god, imagine if they had Messi ?
RM praising Ronaldo, imagine they had Messi ? ......etc.
If he was in your teams you would be screaming every day.

@Tiki_taka

No one is like a God . I personally do not praise him more than I praise every player in my club . No one is bigger than a club . It is 11 men game and everyone makes contribution and deserve recognition . Most importantly if all the players leave today I will still love and support Chelsea . I do not know why you drawing chelsea fans into this Ibra vs Messi vs Ronaldo discussion . This is just silly talk. Battle of opinions and preferences. None of them won World Cup , and if they do not they will go down in history like : Johan Curuyff , Michel Platini , Ferenc Puskas Paolo Maldini , Zico , George Best , Alfredo De Stefano , Ryan Giggs , Paul Scholes , Eric Cantona and etc. Great but not among greatest .
As time goes on Zlatan , Messi and Ronaldo are destined to go down in history like the players above . There are all great players in history of football , but every time discussion starts who was greatest few names pop Pele , Marodona and Zidane , Ronaldo de Lima , Beckenbauer to argue , because these players won ultimate throphy . World Cup . Holy grail ! That is where the player gets his biggest test ! Simple .

Ryan Giggs , Paul Scholes those are more compared to Xavi Iniesta not Messi.
To win a world cup, you need to be lucky, have a good team, and maybe to be Brazilian, German or Italian :). If you judge a player by how many world cup he has won, thats your choice.
Do Spanish players better than all the actual players playing in Europe ? Because they have won 2 Euros and a world cup in a row ?

Messi was the most consistent player in history. 4 years of records, goals, trophies, dribles every game without any out of form.... Personally never seen it before him.
I could rate only few players better than him in history, those who thinks Ibra or Ronaldo better than him are just stupid and dont know about football anything.
Or just watch their team games, and why the example of Chelsea. Its not because he didnt score against them, he trashed every other English defense. And dont forget that he was injured twice by a Chelsea player and got unlucky.
6 Cross/bar and one PK missed, not enough to say that Ibra or Cr7 is better.

Greatest Overall not particular position players , so Scholes and Giggs fall into that category . See you do not get it . No one will care with Messi's achievements or Ronaldo's or Zlatan when someone comes to comparing the greatest of all time . After 30 years people will still wonder wether Pele was better or Marodona or Zidane or Ronaldo de Lima or Ronaldinho and etc , but not those three , because simply you need World Cup . Fair or not fair that is the way world work.
You can be best general in the world at the time , but later after you gone, no one will ever call you greatest because you never won a major war .

Scholes and Giggs are legends of their clubs as Totti Gerard Lampard Iniesta Puyol... Best of all ? you are maybe drunk..
Cantona is even not in a top 5 best french players.
The planet is not England mate wake up, (Mourinho said this to sherwood ^^).You are just wrong. Crujf never won world cup but there is no top 10 without him. and we are not in the 50\'s when there was no player highlights.
Messi has more records than anyone actually and if you forget him when he retires, all his achievements will stay.
I cant see someone scoring 92 goals in a time, can you see someone do that ?
3 CL, many other trophies.... If he wins WC, he will just be the greatest of all time.
He is only 26 dont forget.

@Marcus

In that list of legends, I have no idea what the hell Ryan Giggs is doing there. Cruyff, Best, Platini, Maldini, Puskas, Zico, and Di Stefano are clearly regarded to be among the top 15 players in history for sure. Cantona is more of a United legend, and Giggs and Scholes are more United and English/Welsh legends.

And your argument about the WC is ridiculous. Does a player have to win the WC to be considered one of the greatest ever? Absolutely not. You are remembered even without that prized trophy. Cruyff is regarded by many to be *the greatest player in the history of football, and he has never won a WC. George Best has not either, not Puskas or Di Stefano, nor Eusebio. But what did we see with the passing of those players? Puskas' funeral had more than 2 million Hungarians pouring out on the street holding thousands and thousands of candles. Eusebio's death had the whole world mourning the legend as one of the greatest ever*. Have they permanently established themselves as one of the games' greats? Yes. Did either of them win a WC? Nope. Did they need to win a WC to establish themselves? Hell no.

You do not need a WC to be one of the greatest ever. To win the WC, you have to be fortunate. Fortunate enough to be born in a nation in a time when the national team is amazing, and to have immense amounts of luck on your side in the WC. Among the best players in history, many of them did not win WC's. Yes, it is true that the WC helps a player establish himself permanently, but players are remembered even without that trophy. Often, the case is that a player is just unbelievably talented, but does not have the international squad on his side to win the WC. Players like Messi, C. Ronaldo, Maldini, Puskas, Di Stefano, Best, Zico, Eusebio, Yashin, Van Basten, and Platini never won a WC, and they don't need to. Their legacy is already established and permanent.

Ok guys forget about list my point is that no one will care ! Kids this days do not know who Is Johan Cruyff or George Best , but they sure know Pele and Marodonna . 40 years will pass and kids will still remember Pele and Maroddona but no one will remember Messi and Ronaldo until they learn more about football greats . They are best players but they will be just one of the best . Not one of the greatest . Only time Messi will be mentioned is when someone will be close to break his record again . Only time Ronaldo will be mentioned is when someone talks about Portugal and one of the clubs he played for or again some records he made. Unless they win World Cups . For example . Everyone will remember Ronaldo Fenomeno De Lima because he won WC twice , and he has the highest goal scoring record at World Cup . He will be argued as if he is the greatest of all time not one of the greats . Zidane who led France to 1998 glory and then came back from retirement at age of 35 to lead struggling france to world cup qualification and then take them to final ! Everyone will always remember Zidane . I hope you understand because this is third time i am trying to explain my point and you still talking about players i listed and what records Messi broke . Just here is suggestion , figure out who is best Argentinian player , Messi or Maroddona ?

40 years will pass, and kids will look back at former Ballon d'Or winners and see Lionel Messi 4 times, and Cristiano Ronaldo 2 times. There is no way these two will not be remembered as two of the greatest ever.

"Only time Messi will be mentioned is when someone will be close to break his record again".

Yeah, I'm sure he will. Just count how many records he has at Barcelona? Oh right.... around 70+. I'm sure his name will come up a lot.

"Only time Ronaldo will be mentioned is when someone talks about Portugal and one of the clubs he played for or again some records he made".

Lol, is that how you think of players like George Best? And Eusebio? Puskas and Di Stefano? Or even someone as recent as Maldini? Your argument is invalid. People remember these players more than 60 years after they played, and they are still heralded as one of the greatest ever. Lionel Messi is, and always will be, one of the Top 5 greatest players to have ever lived. There's no argument here.

Considering he's only 26, I wouldn't put any money on Messi NOT bringing home a World Cup, in his career.

He will go down as the best player of all time. You mark these words.

+1 Dynast even if its obvious, i thought it was obvious....Not a problem if he is not recognized by kids in 50 years, the problem is that he is even not recognized by stupid men here AT THE MOMENT. What sports are you watching guys ? I watch football.
Messi has over 125 records just in La liga, and comparing to Iniesta who has everything Messi won plus 2 Euros + a world Cup. But can we compare Iniesta to Messi ?
Messi was the best year player 4 times in a row, and it was voted by players and coaches but still.
Comparing Giggs to Messi.....
