@messi6511 I went to the US two times, for several months, I have many friends there, and this is in no way offensive to Americans. It's just something I noticed during my stays, and on football forums in general. They don't call each other names as a joke. I may call my friends assholes, or morrons sometimes for a laugh. People I met in America take it personaly and as offensive. They don't have banter like we do in Europe (at least in England and France, don't know about other places too well). So, if you are American, you exactly proved my point.

Edit : oh yeah, and America has this thing about sportsmanship that is a very different notion from the passion and commitment that are the things praised in English football.
