Sell Willian? Have you even watched him play this season? I would not replace him with any player.

I think Chelsea only needs to get someone for Oscar place. Sterling ain't better than Willian, just hyped english kid who wants enormous money.

Diego Costa confirms he will not leave Chelsea this summer. So no, he will terrorize us next year too :)

^ thats not true, just marca doing their things, he would cut his salary into half of what he is earning, i think he would prefer learning English instead :)

Griezmann isnt going anywhere, the player and his club told... And his buyyout clause is 65M euros.

+1 quikzyy.

Griezmann can play as number 10 and take Oscars place? Not so sure Chelsea will get him anymore though. But 65M euros? no way?

Oscar, Willian should be dropped
Costa should remain up front
Zouma is a beast and can replace Cahill
Griezmann shouldn't move from Atletico
Icardi might move to Chelsea to play in UCL

Same squad as last year except Bamford replaces Drogba in the team, and Zouma replaces Cahill in the starting XI. I'd love to have Pogba in the team but it's unlikely.

Considering Ivanovic's age, I think he's going to start playing as centre back, while Azpi will swap sides, which will give Filipe Luis a starting place in the back four. The rest of the team will probably stay the same - I suppose Mourinho will use either of these two options to rotate:

  1. Cuadrado/Remy RW - Willian CAM - Hazard LW
  2. Willian RW - Oscar CAM - Hazard LW.

Backups for each position:
GK: Blackman isn't good enough, we'll have to get an experienced (and preferably English) goalkeeper who wouldn't mind playing second-fiddle to Courtois
RB: Ivanovic will drift out wide if Azpi is injured
CB: Cahill, Zouma, Christensen, Kalas (?)
LB: Azpi, Aké
CDM/CM: Mikel, Ramires, Loftus-Cheek, Aké
RW: Remy, Willian
CAM: Oscar
LW: Cuadrado, Remy
ST: Remy, Bamford (?), Falcao (?), Traoré (?)

I don't know if we'll sign someone from the top-player category, but if we could get only one of these players I'd be pretty damn happy. Seems very unlikely though [Reus (just extended his contract), Hummels (said that he doesn't want to leave), Götze (is getting critized a lot in Germany, but will probably stay), Pogba (too expensive), Pedro (just signed a contract extension), Griezmann (too expensive), Koke & Varane (both made clear that they don't want to leave) , Verratti (PSG won't let him go), Isco (Real will probably require Hazard in exchange), Pastore (just signed a contract extension].

I think Sterling, Abdennour, Witsel & Schneiderlin are some of the more realistic options we've been linked with, but I don't really want anyone of them apart from Abdennour.

I want us to sign Laporte or Varane once JT's time is up. Witsel is a good, cheap replacement for Mikel, especially since Pogba may be too expensive. No need for another ST. We'll obviously keep Costa, and recently Remy has been better than Costa so I have 100% confidence in those two. As Drogba is leaving, we'll just bring back Bamford from loan and offer him the chance to make a breakthrough like Kane.

I think we only need replacement for 2 players. 1- Striker to replace Drogba. We all have seen what happened when Costa and Remy got injured, we got weak upfront and had to save ourselves by winning 1 goal tactically. 2- a CM to replace Mikel just for a better depth. Other than that we are set to compete again next season. It would be great if we can manage to make a big signing so we can play 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-3-1. Someone like Bale would give us the advantage to do so.

Question to Chelsea fans: What's wrong with Oscar? Last time I checked he was supposed to be the next big thing. What happened?
