That would be insane.

GÖTZE TO BAVARIA!!

Dortmund is powerless despite contract with Idol until 2016. Because of the national team may change in the summer for a committed transfer fee of around 37 million euros. Bavaria they paid.

After image information Götze has already signed a long-term contract with the new German champion.

Explosive: On 4 May by meetings between Bayern and Dortmund each other in the league. And: Both teams could also be in the Champions League on 25 May meet in the final in London.

Gotze to Bayern!

In Bavaria Idol will earn an estimated seven million euro salary per year - instead of the current five million in Dortmund.

Sorry for the bad translation, its from Google.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Götze has agreed to join Bundesligarivals Bayern Munich next season.

The attacking midfielder's release clause in his contract has been activated, according to his agent Volker Struth and his club, and he will join the German champions on 1 July.

Dortmund's Facebook page confirmed the news.

The statement read: "Mario Gotze's agent Volker Struth told us a few days ago that the player wishes to make use of his release clause and on July 1, 2013 move to Bayern Munich."

from Bayern Munich's facebook page:

"Out
of consideration for the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg
between Dortmund and Real Madrid on Wednesday 24 April, FC Bayern had
intended to wait until after the match before communicating this to BVB."

I wonder how this got public then...

because Bild leaked it. And it is supposed to be close to Bayern sources. I have no idea though. First time hearing about this newspaper.

A bit sad just as bvb were reamerging as a force. Surprised gotze didn't wait till end of season to decide. Could he really leave bvb for bayern if bvb beat bayern in the CL final!

f**k Gotze,he better not play against Madrid. His mindset will not be right.I hate it when Bayern always steal great german players from the Bundesliga teams.Thats it,its all over for us.Bayern are gonna dominate bundesliga for a long time.I f**king hate Gotze now, what a traitor.I pray that Lewa would stay and the rest too!Even if Lewa leaves let him leave outside of germany.Just hope he won't go to Bayern

Really freaking shocked... Gotze, you punk.. He was the maestro of BVB. Lewa Reus and Gotze had an incredible partnership. Would he even be a consistent starter? If so, for who?

He'll start for sure. Looks like Pep wants to make him the next Messi. Maybe they will play him as a false 9. I think they'll let go of Robben and/or Gomez at the end of the season. BvB should probably buy Eriksen and one other player from this money unless they have adequate players in the reserves.

for these who don't know it wasn't Gotze idea. It's about that Bayern is going to pay the buy-clause which is around 35 millions +-.
so stop hating Gotze he did not sign any contract yet!

^^^^ that's wrong. Bayern meant the buy out clause but gotze could have said no. But he didn't, he has already said yes. He has told BVB he wants to join Bayern. I don't blame him but imo he should have waited till end of season to decide to respect the rest of bvb's season. The timing of this is disgraceful imo

I am surprised the but out clause is so low. Should have been double that to give Dortmund more negotiating power. That was poor work from bvb so they must blame themselves a bit too. Bayern basically got gotze around his precise value. Not good

The buy out clause is low because his agent wanted it to be low when Gotze signed  the contract last year, otherwise he probably wouldn't have signed the contract and gone for even cheaper.

Why? BVB is a GREAT squad, and everyone wants to leave! Gotze has lost my respect.
