Hey, its ok for me, I just wish BVB wouldn't screw me over at the last minute and score all those late goal. :P Thankfully, that was only the test run. By the way, I was confused a bit at first at the number of point we had to bet.

It feels a bit confusing. A description of the new one would be helpful.

Yes, explanation needed. Perhaps I'll like it more when understood completly.

Do we get more point each week? I hope so because if I keep going the way I did, I'll be out of point before long. :P

Anyway, it seem you can bet a certain number of point on a specific score, if you get right or partialy right, you will get point depending on the propality of said score to happen. For example, if you predict Spain to beat Wales, you don't get lots of point if you are right. So its all a question of balancing the risk vs the reward factor. Pretty interesting.

@Emobot7 if you predict Spain to wins over Wales, and you are correct. You will only win points from people who predicted for Wales and Draw.(which is less).

But if you take risk and predict on Draw or Wales (less chance to win) you will most of the points from people who predicted Spain (which is alot).

Since the ranking is solely based on points, i always take risk and bet against the winning team.

I believe ranking system should be improved, it should take accuracy of prediction (total correct/ total prediction) in to account when calculate ranking.

Otherwise best bet is to bet against and just wait for the luck and win alot.

If you go below 100 points, is that it then?

I survived last game week but for a second it looked as though I was going under.

Well, I dont like this new system.

Its more related to a BEATING system rather than an PREDICTOR system.

Please comeback with the old system. Check the leader board we until now have a lot matches and the fist 50 players only have max 2 predictions. It doesnt motivate to predict a lot matches. This new system invite to wait and beat a lot risky points in few matches.

In summary its like im betting and i like predict matches not betting.

Can someone make a forum thread to ask to developers or moderator to change to old format?

Its perfect because u beat to a draw 0-0, two matches u get correct and u get 9000 points, while another person made 8 from 14 correct predictions and he get 1500 LMAO.

@EdgarEAM agree. May be the new predictor get fix and value more that 8/14 predictions. And somehow reduce that lucky win points.

But predicting with points still sounds more fun though. Previous predictor had it flaws too.

No way cjmling, by example I only have 80 ´points and i can't continue participating in predictor. I doesnt have enough points. Alot players more with this same inconvenience. Blame in this New Era predictor.

My place around 220, in champions league predictor i finished like 15 place.

@EdgarEam the points suppose to get reset to 1000 after each round finished ( when you are below 1000 points ). Your didn't get reset ?

Until now no, i guess i should wait to finish this round.

But, guess something. i was thinking about this things (predictor, betting, fun) and I have a extraordinary idea.

Make a system like a Poker SIT AND GO, how supposed it will work. Well, in the start of season verybody has the same amount of points 1000. each round everybody make a iniitial betting amoun (each round is more higher), and if u want u can raise ur bet. It makes a lor more funny for me, imagine each round people leave this game, until we can so few players betting points like 300000 points, that will be amazing in personal opinion.

Explanation and refinement to features will come. We are developing a few tools that will allow players to make better bets. However, you are right to notice that the dynamics of the game are completely changed. You are playing against all other players and not just the match result itself, you need to risk more often.

Once people understand this new game dynamic the odds will start to balance out a little more. We didn't want to create another predictor where you simply predict correct score, we wanted to make something more engaging and competitive.

We will be looking for ways to please those who want to simply predict correct score without thinking about pool odds – it may be in form or ranking algorithm modification or having a special in-game chip that allows you to set "expected score" in addition to the "wagered score".

Still to be improved, but in our opinion new predictor already provides more excitement and higher rewards. Thank you for feedback!

We wanted to get some feedback about the recent changes introduced to Predictor. Is this helpful and is there something else you want to see in regards to making better predictions and also understanding how scoring works.

The new feature is really nice. Give me better insight what to predict in order to win most.

BUT !!

I know this new predictor I will want to suggest to introduce Asian Handicap Odds.

In the current system its kinda hopeless to predict and trying to win some points when there is a match between very good team A and bad team B

Obviously majority of the people will bet on TEAM A. And if you really want to win some, you have to predict on the TEAM B (which very unlikely to happen). May be it can happen but its just too random to predict on TEAM B right.

I don't know man, i feel its stupid if you want to win points and you have to predict that TEAM B will win.

I bet on barca-inter 2-0 and nailed it.
I bet on galatasaray-shalke 1-1 and the game ended 0-0

Got not more 200pts on first game while +400pts on the second. Didn't raise on neither of them.

And this is my problem with the predictor. I felt I wasnt rewarded enough for getting the exact result but on the other hand too much rewarded for a less accurate betting.

When I see the leaderboards some get only few bets but have lots of points because they raise a lot. How much fluke is that?! In my opinion the balancing of points should be better. It risks to reward raising too much.
