@KingHenry: Same goes for us Chelsea fans. If we even dared to bring up Cahill, who used to be so inconsistent last season, or Terry, who was usually on the bench, we'd be mocked and called bias. But after Mourinho came back, Cahill has become one of the best CBs in Europe as he keeps performing outstandingly game after game.
Just look at his performance in our 1-0 win against City.
Amazing, old school defending, right? Doing whatever it takes to keep the ball away from our goal and into the opponent's. The awesome thing is, he does this every game!
Terry basically is the same. He's having one of his best seasons in a while, and is a really influential player on the pitch. Him and Cahill are perfect for each other. One has a brilliant footballing mind and no-nonsense style of defending while the other's the epitome of a defender in his prime, with speed, strength, decent passing, heading and bravery.
The reason for this silly question is because of my argument with Footaholic about whether Cahill - Terry or Koscielny - Mertesacker is the best CB partnership in the EPL.
Mine is obviously Cahill - Terry, so what's yours?
