The price ticket to get into MGM Grand in Las Vegas is extremely high and hard to buy. Pacman spent almost 4 mil USD for tickets for his friends, family and staffs (around 900 people). Even Bob Arum the agent from Pacquiao has to pay 10000 USD for the seat next to the ring.
But that's nothing compare to his income to participate in this match (approximately at least 120 mil USD out of 400 mil USD, Floyd Mayweather would receive 180 mil according to the share 40 - 60). That's insane.
Only about 1000 tickets were issued to public, and the lowest price is 1000 USD, the most expensive is about 5000 USD. On black market it can be 30 times as much. Around 15000 tickets are distributed to related parties.
On Wednesday, several tickets were offered online with the price of 350.000 USD (around 70 times higher than the most expensive one)... :O

I have to respect Mayweather for accepting the fight because its not an easy one and he is the only one to risk something i tell you why...
In boxing legends there is 2 categories, Legends who never lost a game and the rest, Pacman already lost so if he looses against Mayweather there will be no problem to loose against '' the best ever undefeated champion '', so in a way he has nothing to loose...
Floyd at his difference, fought few guys of Pacman level, defeated them but he is becoming a myth due and only due to his undefeated series, if he looses to Pacman those who were criticizing his rivals strenght will say they were right about him and from a myth he would become a champion like there were many in this sports History...
If he beats him, his name will enter into a very short list of the biggest Legends ever on his sport.
This is why Floyd was the one to choose everything and pacman had to accept, he choose the material, the location, the period even the rules and will earn more than Pacman on the game benefits ( 65%-35% ), but Manny anyway had to accept because Floyd has everything to loose, for Manny its the opposite, a chance to be the '' one '' who defeated Floyd if he wins, nobody to blame him if he looses...
Floyd wasnt very motivated to fight him, for the reasons i listed before, but under critizes pressure, he decided to act like a champion and challenge his name by taking this risk...
I personnally dont have a favourite, i will just watch them writing their own History and congrats the winner...

In boxing at the difference of Football, you can choose your rival, in Football you dont, you advance and get obliged to face any team drawn...
Some boxing careers are built by intelligent choices of fights, taking off the risky ones depending on styles and boxer weaknesses, so im not saying big champions are 100% overhyped, but this is why this game is incredible, because the issue is not known and both have some good arguments to win...
Despites deciding '' ALL GAME'' circumstances wich give Floyd a little '' tiny '' lead, i respect him more that he decided to face his destiny, its a fight where he could loose everything, but he can also climb to another glory level, anyway both are paid massively so the loss wont affect their pockets...

I think you dont get it Marcus, boxing is different from a simple street fight, no one who enter a ring should be considered as a pussy...
Its buisness, money for your family, children, career....The aim of boxing sponsors and federation is not to kill a boxer after just breaking through, if it was like this, this sport would have no Legend...
You build a reputation first, you dont make the best face each others to preserve their careers and image, and you wait till they are established to cash in on their reputation, while surfing on their success for years so the looser if he never gets back into the spotlight would have cashed in and spent a good career...
Its like putting the best 4 teams of Europe together in CL group stage, boxing is a buisness like another, you capitalize on your talent, you ge step by step and once you secured your career, you can look for eternal glory...
I personally doesnt see it as coward thing, there are many boxing associations like HBO... and every association has their own World champion, each one make money with their champions and his future contenders, but making them facing each others would just destroy careers because at the start of a fight you have 2 Legends who make benefits, at the end of the game there is only one, the other should stand up again do many other fights to pretend again to something...
Its not a gladiator era or Highlanders that will only remain one, its about entertaining and making money, so even if those two wanted to face each other their associations would have never accepted, they are both at the end of their careers and there is a record pay check to get, the only reason this fight was schedjuled...
Many great champions got short careers for getting Ko and never recovering from it, one of the most beatiful stories of prince Naseem being too cocky and fighting many world champions in a small time without proper training saw his career destroyed at only 27, while less talented ones got millions by being intelligent in the way they handled their careers...
Those guys arent affraid of each others, they both defend their piece of cake in the buisness, thats it.
