still not a good player just because he scored a goal with spain and because he was in the winning team of the UCL, he hardly played. his value went from about $5mil to $10mil... just to refresh people's mind he was worth $50 million euros!

ok now he is worth probably 25 million.. but still not 50. I don't think he will ever get back to his top form when he was at liverpool and in the euro 2008, his best days are gone but now he is recovering lots of confidence and he could be a very important player for spain in this Euro

He never should have left Liverpool.
