Favourite South American teams?

I have always found South American football to be fascinating, but i have limited exposure to it outside of the internet and the North American time's for most games are about 6 or 7 pm, and usually around those times i am busy with work or homework. But whenever i get a chance i check out the football there and it is really good and entertaining.

i have no concrete overall favourites, but im fond of Nacional of Uruguay, Newells old boys and Boca juniors of Argentina and Mineiro of Brazil due to Ronaldinho playing there.

South american football seems to be on par with europe in regards to atmosphere (maybe even better ), and in game quality. but the media exposure and the superstars is where south america loses out, the media focuses more on europe and most extremely good south american players move out and go to Europe. So.. if you watch or know South american football.. whats your favourite club in that continent?

I kind of find it difficult to get into any other league than the Premier League...so no, I'm not particularly fond of watching the football in South America. But I like the fact that South American teams are continuously producing talent for PL teams to buy ;D

My good friend was born in a Club Argentino River Plate flag, so by default I like them. Then there's La U de Chile and Colo Colo, both Chilean teams that other friends of mine support, but I don't really watch South American footy all that much. If I catch it on TV than I might leave it but I'd rather watch Seinfeld. When Copa Libertadores comes around I usually watch some of those games.

Since I live in Sao Paulo right now, I feel obligated to support one of the Brazil clubs.
JUST A REMINDER. Sao Paulo FC isn't the only club from Sao Paulo. I think a lot of people who live outside Brazil don't know that.
Anyways, I support Corinthians and I'm starting to get into watching Brazilian football.

@knibis: you do know that putting a :) doesn't mean that no-one's going to realize that you're being a dick, right?

I don't particularly watch South American football, but like nanda said, I enjoy seeing the continuous supply of brilliant young stars they produce. The only time I really recall watching any South American matches were of Corinthians when Ronaldo O Fenomeno went there at the latter stages of his career, and Santos when Neymar and Ganso first made their names.
