Falcao future?

Recently, the Colombian falcon, Radamel Falcao, has turned many big-named clubs horny and anxious after his enormous impact in Athletico Madrid last year. He made his break-through year, technically, in Portugal. In FC Porto, he made a massive contribution in bringing the club the glorious titles of the Primeira Liga, Taca De Portugal, Portu. supercup and the UEFA Europa League. This break-through performance wasn't over yet, as he moved to Athletico, and already played a crucial role in bringing the club the prestigious Europa League cup, alongside the very recent UEFA Super Cup against current UEFA CL winners, Chelsea.

Now, tabloids have been going insane on Falcao, and there has been reports saying that according to his father, Falcao may have a chance of moving to Fulham and joining Chelsea, despite rumours of his dream to move to Real Madrid. Vitor Baia (former Portu. player) feels that Falcao would fit perfectly in RM, however, the Athletico Chief denies all of this, stating the fact that Falcao is still focused in his work in Athletico. Manchester City are also in the race of signing this beast, but the chances may be very slim. However, as indicated by the shocking signings of Javi Garcia and Maicon (balls-dropping), anything is possible.

Here is my opinion on the impact Falcao will make to the rumoured clubs:

  • Athletico Madrid: He could stay in Athletico if he wants to. His performance at the moment is definitely impressive. He is a typical example of a world-class professional - bringing the best out of all the clubs he's in/been into.

  • Chelsea could also be a good club for him to go to, since the club will need another striker to bolster their attacking force. However, with the signings of many talented youngsters like Hazard, Oscar and Marin, Chelsea might not need him anyway. Plus, as indicated by the signing of Fernando Torres, Falcao might start off uncomfortably at first, and will take some time to adapt to Chelsea's style, alongside the English game, which is quite risky because of his current age.

  • Real Madrid: For a club that has been performing consistently good every season, and with the big-names of Ronaldo, Mourinho, Ozil, etc being in the club, if Falcao moves, then RM could most likely be his next destination due to the following reasons:

    1. Falcao is already adapted to the Spanish games.
    2. There are rumours that Falcao's dream was to move to RM. If this is the case, then the possibility of his move is a no-brainer, really.
    3. If Falcao moves to England, then he will have to learn to adapt with the English games, although IMO, it won't take a long time since he is such a talented man.
  • Manchester City: As mentioned before, a surprising move for Javi Garcia, alongside Maicon from Inter Milan, could make a difference in terms of Falcao's decision to to England. But I don't think this will happen, but anything can happen.

So there you have it. Falcao is a tremendous talent who could be looking to move to a new club next season. Big clubs are targeting him, and with all these speculations going on, who knows wtf will happen to him. I would like to read your opinions on this case, so feel free to post up your opinion on this matter.

Cheers.

I think it'll come down to who forks over the most money. Atletico knew they wanted to cash in on him when they bought him in the first place. Plus the fact that they're only making a portion of the profits... they'll only let him go to the highest realistic bidder (i.e. no Anzhi, or Chinese clubs).

interesting opinions, boyz. I do think the club with the most money will win this race, but then again, I think Falcao is the type that would ignore that and stick to the passion of football. I personally don't think he'll move to England and will move to RM, but anything can happen in the last minute.

I'm sure Chelsea or Man Utd are the only ones who are interested. Or he can just simply play in Italy
