No argument there, who wants to date a Barnsley player?

"I play for Barnsly."
"Who?"
"…"

It was a joke but... he should be worrying about getting his life sorted.
He was a promising CDM then broke his legs then started with all this sh*t outside of football.
I hope he gets back on track at Barnsley.

@Lodatz No Barnsley isnt nobody, they play ONE divison below the premiership and of the thousands of clubs in England thats damn impressive.

So are Bournemouth.

It's still true that Bournemouth is better known for its quaint beaches than its football team.

Barnsley doesn't even have beaches.

Well yeah for people that dont watch football or just plastics. The fact that you actually argue this proves you are one.

@Dephased Would you kindly stop calling members here plastics? Because no one really appreciate it. I didn't bother when you called me one while you are from Norway and supporting Arsenal which is completely normal to me but to your logic you are plastic for not supporting a club from your own nation. which really doesn't matter. Thanks.

@Dephased: I must admit, I'm finding it mildly amusing that, for some bizarre reason, you're defending the honour of a club you had probably never heard of before this thread. :p

Just how long have you followed the Tykes, then? Was it during their one (and only) season in the top division, back in 1997? Or maybe you've been a fan for even longer back, when they were hanging around Division 3 and 4 for most of their history?

Or was it their heroic battle against relegation a couple of years ago, in which they only stayed in the Championship because of Portsmouth being penalized 10 points after going into receivership?

(yes, this is all from Wikipedia, because, NO-ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT BARNSLEY).

Seriously, why did this annoy you so much?

To think Frimpong could've done so vs. Southampton and we would still have Flamini! Bad bit of business right there.

First off Alex, Im not from Norway i grew up in London because my father got work there hence why i support Arsenal, though i might have ended up supporting spurs if i lived a little further up north. I moved to Norway and i have it as my national team cause i live here and my mother is Norwegian while my father is Albanian. I have never followed Barnsley but i have always known Barnsley and updated myself on them regularly as i check the championship results every week. but the point is about Barnsley in particular its just stating that no one knows anything about Barnsley well if you actually properly follow english football you do. And if you didn't know Barnsley has a decent fan base themselves who actually sing and support their club throughout the whole match something our clubs really could do with. And for godsake how successful you are as a football team doesn't determent anything.

That kid Frimpong was never serious . If he actually gave more time on the pitch than playing FIFA , tweeting all day , rapping around and chasing girls , he would have become great defensive mid . He needs to build discipline to revive himself in top division club . ( He sort of like Balotelli )

guys being on twitter and facebook and saying dench is not something that prevents you from training LOL. You can do both. He is very talented, loves arsenal, only problem was injuries. Anyways good luck to him.

@Dephased: I think it determines a lot with regard to how many women are going to be impressed, in nightclubs. Which is what Frimpong was joking about. It really was pretty funny... :)

@Lodatz That is pretty obvious isn't it, I'm not referring to Sir Frimpong here, just ignorant supporters who thinks the football world evolves around the top teams.
