Arsenal have signed Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel.
The 23-year-old midfielder spent three years with the Swiss club, making over 90 league appearances and winning three consecutive Super League titles.
He featured 28 times in all competitions in the first half of this season, scoring six goals.

well,I am happy that we finaly bought a player but do we need him?I mean we already have cazorla,coquelin,ramsey,wilshere,flamini and arteta who are CDM so I don't know if we need him...

@minoas57 Hospital FC alway can use a good player, cause they never know when they will have a wave of wounded player.

@minoas57 I think Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky will leave the summer, and they are certainly not the youngest players, we need a a really CDM player, while Ramsey, Wilshere are more box-to-box.

I will miss Rosicky when he leaves. That man is class.

Good signing . Real CDM Very good move . Solid back up for the first team players . Arsenal has only Conquelin as real CDM now there is another player . So i say for that price tag for descent player , this is a great deal .

Can't really say much as I haven't seen him play but I a sure am happy we signed a CDM that sounds promising

Lol. First of all, let's break it to 2 positions, CM & CDM

CDM: Coquelin, Flamini, Arteta
CM: Wilshere, Rambo, Cazorla

A) We're never going to play 2 CMs at same time.
B) Wilshere & Cazorla are injured.
C1) Flamini & Arteta should be leaving, not good enough for the club.
C2) Coquelin injured.
C3) We have ZERO CDMs considering C1 & C2.

Don't understand why didn't he start vs Stoke.. Arsenal sent a fitness coach 2 wks ago to keep him fit

Arsen is getting ready to end his loosing streak in the league against Chelsea . Needs a fresh team to ensure that is why he did not play .

@Marcus With Ozil being rested this weekend, Alexis match fit again, Elneny to boss the midfield and considering our current form, I can't see us winning at the Emirates mate .

I did not say we will win but we can pull a draw . Very tough though but we can .

@Marcus @Chucksea You two seem to forget that its the BPL, everything can happen, just because fate seem to favor Arsenal on this occasion, it doesn't mean they will win. Thats the beauty of the English League. Have faith in your team lads.
