@Marcus He did better than Suarez Vs Bus tactics, managed to get a PK and gave space to his teammates...
Dont judge a team or a player for one game, he did better than Falcao in la liga and scored important goals that Chelsea lacked against weaker opposition.
He may have dropped form since his fast recovering from injury, but dont say something you will regret after when you will be absolutely in love with him.
Drogba did even worst than him VS the bus, and i actually hope he will never go to Chelsea because he is a typical Mourinho striker.

Funny how nobody watch la liga and get to such a conclusion about Costa, he is more hungry than the current Falcao who earned enough money to fight the way osta is fighting.
About Falcao, RDM gave enough space for a striker to do his usual buisness, with Costa skills, you are sure to compete for the title and his silliness and intelligence could have gotten you the extra points you are lacking this season to win PL.

You cant trust la liga performence ? Look at his stats in CL....
Chelsea needs a player similar to Diego Milito and Costa is perfect in this case.

He's going to Chelsea for 32 million. All sports journos are picking up on it now and are being assertive as well. It's going to get big in a weeks time (or at least by the CL final).

EDIT: Journos are saying it's going to be officially announced after the season ends.

@tiki

First of all not "bus tactics" but Catenaccio tactics "))

Drogba is 36 . Him playing in Champions League against top side is already a miracle .

Suarez is more of central forward than all out striker like Costa . Usually see Suarez pick ball from midfield . So, it was harder for Suarez when he was trying to find a space .

I am not denying Costa's talent and skills , I was just having a bigger "wow " about him before Chelsea match . He is Drogba caliber playing or Milito , but I think Drogba and Millito would have finished those headers at least 2 or 3 of them .

Like I said he is young and still has room for some adjustment .

P.S. Also I noticed Costa is a hot head . I like players who are passionate and go on to match as if this is a war but not to extent when player looses his head , so often and risks team to be left with 10 man . Simione on touchline was screaming trying to calm him down during Chelsea fixture .

I actually hate the fact that he is going to Chelsea, in fact every player of Atletico XI is a amazing signing for Chelsea and Mourinho.
They know sacrifice, they are hungry and still have many to proove, i heard about Felipe luiz going to Chelsea too.
Suarez is a better signing as he is already an EPL player adapted to the League, but he is no longer in the market as Liverpool is playing CL and having a good squad/coach...
32M for Costa is nothing and he will love the space and direct playing style of PL, Mourinho knows what he is doing : Costa over any diva in Mou head, Cavani is talented but not a warrior, not adapted to the defensive duties every Mou player need to have.
Falcao seems more interested in money actually than in sportive results, amazing player though but just cost double Costa price, Cavani the same and Suarez probably the treble.

Find another striker that costs less than 5m and sell him for 30-50m after 2-4 seasons.

Chelsea finally agree to sign Diego Costa in £32million transfer

The Premier League reacts to Diego Costa’s arrival… (Picture: Getty)
They have been chasing him for months, and now Chelsea have
apparently got their man after finally agreeing to sign Diego Costa from
Atletico Madrid.
Costa, who scored against in the Blues in the Champions League this
week, is Jose Mourinho’s number one transfer target – and it appears
he’s landed him early.
According to reports in Spain, Chelsea have wrapped up the transfer
after agreeing to meet the striker’s £32million buyout clause.
Costa has also accepted personal terms on a five-year contract, with
the move set to be formally announced at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old told reporters yesterday that he was aware of offers
from other clubs, before going coy when asked if he was west
London-bound.
Costa will reportedly pocket about £200,000-a-week at Stamford
Bridge, while Chelsea will hope to offset some of that expenditure by
clearing out forwards such as Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o, both of
whom are high earners.
