Di María to Man United.

Di María is going to leave Real Madrid. He himself made the agreement for the transfer, and now the clubs Real Madrid and Man United need both to agree for the transfer and its done. This all means that James Rodriguez will replace Di Maria's position

@Tuanis

Most players play for the glory. Who wouldn't turn down the chance to play for a title-contending club? I'm sorry Tuanis, no offense by this, but most players would pick a club like Chelsea over United right now. Chelsea not only offer better wages, but have a legitimate chance in winning titles.

Di Maria just won the CL, if he wants out of RM it has to be because he wants to take his career into a new challenge. If he just wanted trophies he would have stayed at Madrid. Players are the ones supposed to win tittles for the team, not the other way around.

I know that not participating in any European competition is affecting our transfers but its not like United is just another club, we'll be back next years if everything goes as planned. We need players who want to play for the team not for the trophies, if there are still that kind of players.

Gotze joining Bayern and Hazard joining Chelsea are some of the clearest examples of how winning a trophy can lure top players.

I just hope players like Di Maria or Vidal (which I think is an almost done deal) dont get too greedy. We've lost amazing players to other clubs offering more money...

PSG seem interested. If they give an offer in, I don't think United would stand much of a chance.

Lets all just hope we dont see another Lucas Moura transfer robbery. Im still upset with how things turned out, such a waste.

@Tuanis: I feel you bro. But PSG has hijacked this deal. Fairly sure since its all over ESPN...not official though!

@Dynastian: Everyone defines glory differently. Gerrard for example, has never won the BPL title but is still considered one the most glorious Players in the BPL - not only for his leadership, his immense contribution to the Club and his loyalty towards a Team which had fallen to mediocrity for some seasons - but because he was just a great individual and earned the respect for many, many fans, players and managers.

Just imagine di María moving to United for example, leading them back to CL, having a good run in the title race and getting the love of the fans. That would be enough glory for me and I think for many others too.

PSG agreed with Real Madrid on 60Meuros transfer but Di Maria prefers England, so United is in good position now if they put the price.

Omg, i really dont know what you guys are talking about. Why has PSG to do with this. Linking Angel to PSG was a old small rumor. Him moving to Manchester is a big chance, he could be this week in England. In the Dutch news they said that he accepted them but the clubs still need to negotiate.

PSG was a stong buyer, but Real Madrid will listen to the player preference, if he Chose United over CL than Di maria will be very smart...

It's clear to most folks I'd say that United will be back in Europe after this season. If Di Maria is choosing United, then it would be a pretty smart move.

The team-sheet may have some issues which need resolving, and last year was clearly a bust, but, the club itself is still the house that Ferguson built. A legacy doesn't come crashing down just because of one year mismanaged by David Moyes.

United are still an attractive prospect. Don't be mean, Chelsea boys. ;)

Why wouldn't Di Maria want to join us? These are exciting times for United. The club can offer competitive wages, it has a new respected manager, 70,000+ fans week in week out coming out to watch them, etc.. Any player who wants to challenge themselves should find this opportunity enticing. So what if we're not playing CL football? If those players really want CL football, they can go and join FC Basel, CSKA Moscow or Olympiacos. Mata knew that there was a big chance we wouldn't get top 4 and he still wanted to join us. United is the biggest and most successful club in the PL. Feeling a bit intimidated and might I add, scared, Chelsea fans? ;)

If I were Di Maria I would choose Manchester United over PSG any day. And for those talking about Manchester United wages? Rooney takes £300,000-a-week, Mata used to take £70,000-a-week at Chelsea, now he takes £170,000-a-week at United. I don't see any reason for him not to join United.

Me too, I would choose MU over PSG for every single aspect... fans, stadiums, competitiveness, quality....

ohhhhhhhh wait, Paris and France weather are better than in England.... foods is 10 times better. :D but that's it.

JK,

We dont play in CL, some players just can't stand that

@bluez what are bigger clubs that want Di Maria? Please don't tell me that PSG is bigger club than United.
I totally agree with @Alex but for us (not United fans) it would be better if he joined PSG instead of United.

@quikzyyy I have never been concerned about what our rivals sign since we do the same and I was one of those who congratulate Arsenal for the good signing of Sanchez. I would rather have an interesting EPL than a predicted one and most importantly is the EPL performance in the Champions League. If you want to be the champion you have to beat the best clubs first.
