of course heisinburg. Arsenal were patient with Wenger 8 years, and you expect sacking Moyes after 6 months? lol No way . We r not done yet for this season and next year we will be much better.

@mladen I agree with you that you're not done for this season. For me Moyes still don't get that he's not coaching Everton but United who expect better results from manager.

He'll do fine. He just needs more support and time. You people have to realize that he's being compared to one of the greatest managers in history in Sir Alex Ferguson. I mean, there's a frickin' reason he's been knighted (for his "contributions to sport"). It's like asking an average manager like Andre Villas-Boas to come and manage Barcelona after Johan Cruyff leaves. It's not easy. Just give Moyes another season or so, and see how it turns out. I'm sure that 2014-15 will be a better season from United than 2013-14.

I think SAF also had three horrible starting seasons with United and then went on to winning ways?

I wasn't able to watch the match against Newcastle as I was taking a test but can someone please tell me how today's match went like? Did we really play that bad or were we unlucky once again?

^In short: a mixture of Both.
I think you should've gotten a penalty b/c Anita blocked the ball from entering goal with his arm. It was clearly unintenional and his arm was behind his body BUT the ball would've went in if it wasn't there.

As for the rest of the match, United were really poor. It was pretty striking.

@man_utd, @Footaholic is spot on. We lacked creativity and control in the center of the park from Cleverley and Jones. At times we couldn't get the ball off of Newcastle towards the end.

We need some more damn creativity in midfield. With no Carrick, there is literally nothing for us going in the mid. Fellaini is pure shite, cleverly doesn't do enough and Jones isnt even a midfielder! we need a world class midfielder (maybe 2) and a quality winger (Januzai is quality but lacks experience, Nani and young should go in Jan. with Valencia being our only good winger) once we get the midfield - we are good to go. I watched the Newcastle game, and honestly this is the worst midfield i have seen in a United team.

no carrick and no rooney... we cant be so dependent! we have a big squad to overcome injuries. I still believe this team was built by sir alex to be managed by him. Moyes doesnt have the capability to manage a team like united.

I think if united don't qualify for Champions, which is a very big IF, he'll be sacked. Not to start any arguments, but being a Liverpool and hating United naturally, I'm so happy about the possible downfall of United ;D But let's just see how this plays out :)

Moyes needs to build his team , obviously he is trying to change the teams style . Will see what changes he will make in January . Otherwise I would fire him because of his failure in summer transfer window , then his comments about how players are not world class , then his handling of Wayne Rooney and his comments about him being a second choice and etc comments that manger should not make about club or players to the press because it kills the image of the club and confidence of the players . To me it Seems like he does not know how to manage big club. Is he the man Manchester wants have while going through transition ? MAnchester can give him some time and let him learn or they can fire him and bring someone who has experience at top level . I would go with second one if nothing changes after January .

I've just seen the match replay and to be honest, I think we were more unlucky than poor.
One thing that I've seen over the past few games that's hampering us back from 3 points is the lack of fluidity and pace in our play. We always seem so slow. The ball is isn't distributed quickly enough and there's so much pressure from the other team that the defenders have to pass it back to de Gea or the defenders take the ball, and they clear it out to the other half of pitch and it's all of a sudden the opponents possession. We're just stuck in our own half and can't get the ball enough into the opposing third of the pitch. Passing's been a bit poor too.
And to be honest, I think the handball from Anita that denied the goal from Evra was quite intentional. His hand was on the post, and he kind of awkwardly puts it a bit back from his body, to make it seem as if he was trying to take it put his hand behind his back. Annoying really, but hey, that happens all the time.

But one thing I've noticed is THE LACK OF PASSION AND BELIEF. The players look slouched, and they look like they want to play. I don't know if it's because of the change in managers but honestly, fucking look at the badge on your shirt, realize you're playing for 75,000 people in Old Trafford and MILLIONS MORE AROUND THE WORLD, get some fucking motivation and belief, and play like we always did.

Moyes is a good manager. I trust in him and I still believe in the possible title race. We just have to finish the year well, maybe get some players in January although that is hard to do. However, I am getting a feeling we'll get someone who can turn around our season in January. COME ON UNITED.

He will not see 2014 as a football manager. How can United lose against teams such as Newcastle and Everton ( i have nothing against them) when Fergie didn"t lose against them?

Someone has to be blamed. The players, the administraion or Moyes. Look, at the end of the MU-Newcastle, half of the stadium left before the final whistle. They're fed up of what's happening. United is in big crisis, and deserves a kick in the ass because it's not normal for the world's best team ( one of the best) to be ranked 9th of the league.

In the CL, they are incredible, but when it comes to win home games against English team, they fail...

man utd this is a project dont expect him to win a title in his first season as a man utd manager expect him to deliver maybe in his 2-3 season if he doesnt then time to look for another manager....Moyes though should reconsider bringing in a CB and creative midfielder
