@Tuan its really obvious, Platini told that BO should not go automatically each year to Messi/Ronaldo, Platini added that a German should win the trophy this year...
But lets not forget that Platini has 3 BO and he surely doesnt want them both to get more and more...
For corruption, Platini is not Blatter, he told to the press media in France that the politics forced his hands specially French multinationals and Sarkozy because they have many industrial agreements with Qataries and obviously Blatter is the responsible of votes ( Fifa not UEFA ).
This is how it works lately, too much politics in Football, back me or i bash you in media, or putting pressure on votes responsibles by boycotting a ceremony, if someone wants to be the best, he has 90 minutes each week to prove it, any off pitch argument is clueless.

Look, I'm not trying to deliver another Ronaldo Vs Messi argument cause I realize the greatness of Messi. However, you've gotta admit that Messi is preferred over any player because of the "good boy" image... FIFA is disgusting!!!
Cristiano Ronaldo ignores Michel Platini at the awards the Club World Cup ceremony. He does deserve respect for skipping with the most corrupted official of UEFA. Although he did shake hands with the other corrupted one, Blater, he ignored him as well.
