Intent matters in this situation. There are red cards given all the time for charging at an opponent when there is no contact. But because of the intensity of the intent, it is deemed a red card. On the other hand, there are red cards given too when there is no intent to be malicious so it works both ways. The craziest part about this debacle is that this is Costa's first red card in his Chelsea career. It was long overdue.

The funny thing is that no other professional player has a problem or says something about costa, the only people who say something/hate are the fans who have never played football.

This thread showed me the hate you have for Diego and Chelsea. Maybe this isn't true but evidence suggests otherwise. Diego was wrong, so was Barry. Next time you want to make a thread PLEASE be objective or at the very least try to mask your bias.
