Confederations cup.... The forgotten tournament..

Its always forgotten after it has been played. But during the tournament we always get a lot of drama and goals. But ofcourse it is no where close to the world cup but you should look forward to it because of 4 reasons:

  1. Thaiti national football team..!!:) if you didn't know already The Confederations cup are all the winners from each continents cup. It would be interesting to see Thaiti

2. Goal-line-technology.. yeah!

  1. New epic stadiums

  2. you get that tournament feel when you watch it i suppose. you might get a pre-taste of the feeling you will get in 2014

Match ball? (source: fifa)

Date: from 15 to 30 June 2013

I'm hoping for a Spain - Uruguay final, the way the 2010 World Cup should've been!

Funny that Brazil qualified only because they're hosting the next World Cup. Does anyone remember they're Copa America exit? When they missed all of their penalty shots against Paraguay, who were the runners-up for the competition, and who also took every one of their matches to penalties? It was a pretty funny way to go out. Makes me wonder why Paraguay aren't competing...

Anyway this looks like it's going to be a fun watch.

Tiki Taka. when i mean Tahiti's rotten luck.. i mean that they got SPAIN AND URUGUAY! LOL.
there best bet would of been to be in  a group with NiJeria, Japan and Mexico.. but they would lose all 3 of those matches anyway.

@tiki_taka

It says right beside his username, and COYS is rather enthusiastic about his national team as well. I believe he supports Jordan as well as Palestine? Am I right COYS?

i think he lives in US, he seems not knowing what happenning exactly in this era from hs previous comments, i would like to support palestine but first we should help them getting a stadium and some dignity they are treated like animals. someone who lives there will know that israel doesn' t want to coexist palestinians are murdered one by one....

@ Tiki Taka yes i support Jordan and Palestine because i come from a Jordanian family of Palestinian descent. so i pay absolute tribute to my background heritage and culture that made me who i am today. But also support for the nation i was born and raised in.

if your getting into politics, i dont approve of the U.S's bias towards Isreal and financial support (witch they do to all of there allies witch include numerous arab states) but other then that i dont really see what else the United States has to do with it.. considering presidents past and present have always called for negotiations and peaceful solutions to our problems.. if you remember.. the U.S was the  mediator of the peace deal between us a few years ago (a symbolic picture of Yasser Arafat shaking hands with the Isreali President.) other then verbal support theres nothing else the U.S is really doing.. considering there not getting physically involved.

and Prophet Muhammed said a lack of love for your country is a lack of faith. so relations between Muslims and non muslims in the united states is kind of shaky.. i dont see what aggrevating and retaliating with hate and anger will ever do to solve the problem. So i live to build bridges not burn them.  I treat all people as my brother because they are. Were all the same human beings.. MLK, Malcom X and Ghandi didn't win peace freedom and non discrimination by spilling blood. I think if we all reached out peacefully to the Isreali's and work without guns and explosives we can solve the problem one day.. but.. whos gonna listen to me? i think after 65 years we should be able to realize that killing them in retaliation is just gonna make them do the same thing.. back and forth back and forth back and forth.
