Outplayed Real? I don't think so. Granted, I only watched the first half before falling asleep. The game started at 3 AM. I think Real just underestimated their opponents and it took some time for Ronaldo to wake up.
But as I said before, Real Madrid does not play finals. Real Madrid wins finals.
Does anybody remember the last time Real Madrid has lost in the finals? I don't remember it happening for some time now. The last time it has happened probably was in a Copa Del Rey final, and that was a few years back.
Anyway, I'm happy Real Madrid won and Ronaldo scored a hattrick. Great way to end the year.
My favorite thing regarding World Club Championship is the fact that the winner gets to wear the World Champions badge.

Zidane said himself that he didn't tactically prepare his team for this match. He said he "was feeling lucky". I think if Zidane prepared more meticulously, Kashima would have no chance. Hats off to them for playing so well though.
