5 succesful injuries of PSG players, Marquinhos, Cabaye, Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura, Matuidi, PSG bench will be empty against Chelsea, Lucas and Matuidi injury is a big big BIG blow...
I think its quite good news for Chelsea fanatics, yes some would have wanted to face full PSG squad but lets be realistic, its the final stage of CL, if you are a die hard fan, its good news.
Doesnt mean PSG players wont give it all, if there is an important game for them this year, its this one.

Judging from how devastating Messi has been recently, I have no doubt in my mind that Barca will beat City.

If City has Chelsea performence, Barça would eat them alive.

If the absolute leader of PL cant open play the 3rd of Ligue 1, better not play Spanish teams + Bayern.

@tiki: Mate, did you forget that PSG defeated Barcelona this season, too?

Without Lucas Moura, PSG is not PSG, in fact he is their best player and Barça had a big problem on set pieces, if you watched PSG games, they suffer since their defeat against Barça in 2nd leg.
In final stages, Barça would have never lost to them and if you remember Barça was playing Madrid 3 days later and still they made PSG suffer to get that result.
Nobody in first leg season was screming that Barça was the best or something, unlike Chelsea fans who thinks that topping PL makes them the best team in Europe.

Weren't you one of the guys who said that missing 3 or 4 players is no excuse for losing in one of the various Real - Atletico threads? PSG are top class side and they can field world class players in basically every position, so it's impossible to reduce them to one player.

  • "and Barça had a big problem on set pieces"*
It doesn't matter where the goals came from, it's still a part of the game. I'm not trying to bash Barca, but that seems like a pretty lame excuse, PSG won fair and square just like Barcelona won fair and square against them in the second leg.

"if you watched PSG games, they suffer since their defeat against Barça in 2nd leg."
I must admit that I have only watched three of PSG's Ligue 1 games, but I've watched all of their CL games. What I noticed was that they really seem to have a motivational problem as Ligue 1 PSG and CL PSG seem to be two totally different teams.

"In final stages, Barça would have never lost to them"
How do you know? The knockout rounds are unpredictabe in any competition. Who would've thought that Chelsea was going to lose against Bradford City? or when Olympique Lyon eliminated Real Madrid in the 09/10 season? Anything can happen, I think it would be an open race if PSG faced Barcelona in the knockout rounds.

"and if you remember Barça was playing Madrid 3 days later and still they made PSG suffer to get that result"
English teams have no winter breaks unlike other leagues and have to play games every 3 or 4 days. The six day long game-free period since our win against Everton are a rare occurrence and was only there because we lost against Bradford. If we had won, we would've played another game on Saturday. Obviously not Real Madrid but I'm sure you know what I mean.

"Nobody in first leg season was screming that Barça was the best or something, unlike Chelsea fans who thinks that topping PL makes them the best team in Europe."
Look, I can't speak for every Chelsea fan, but your statement (or your accusation) doesn't represent my opinion and I didn't even imply something like that in my last response to you. I'm a realistic guy and I know that we're definitely not the best team in the world. However, I don't know how Chelsea fans' opinions are relevant in this argument. So please feel free to enlighten me, why you brought that up.
