I think Chelsea will become the Champions easily before last games of the league unlike last years.

@tiki the time after christmas is always the hardest in england. Arsenal fans know about it very well. Unfortunately I think you're right about the two horse race, for the first time in a very long time I'm not that optimistic about the league. There is a chance we can keep up if we get our shit together, and start playing like we did at the start of last season.

Ahahaha Marcus, the transformers Chelsea Bus XD. I think it will be a 2 horse race if the 2 horses we are talking about are strong enough to defeat any opposition in any circumstances. PL needs this kind of teams to come back to push the other teams to raise their level.

What the hell does Atletico has to do with anything ? I thought City vs Chelsea was the topic. Ooh well , did you even watch the match against Atletico ? Two compact and very orgonized teams played against each other everything was decided in 5 min gap between Courtois save and Eto's foul on Costa. Nonetheless Atletico was a better team and deserved finalist .

P.S. IMO they were unlucky not to have their key players in the final and to win CL too .

The reason why I'm bringing Atletico is because that's when you didn't park the bus and when you never parked the bus what exactly happened?Yeah 1-3 . If you don't park the bus vs man city they'll trample you. And no chelsea isn't an organized team the reason why you have good defence records is because of the pathetic bus . Both are team to beat and have been most convincing teams so far, but its way too early to say anything. Even if it's Mourinho. Let's wait till Xmas and see.

yeah tuan iam a little bargaining here, but i think there is only 2 possible winners wich justify the 2 horse race, unless ×Wenger or [×Van Gaal](//search.conduit.com/Results.aspx?ctid=CT3330661&searchsource=55&UM=2&q=Van Gaal) do some miracles here.
But if those 2 monster squads keep their level and performences, i doubt there will be a third in the race.

im just hoping that Arsenal can do well when they face top teams. chelsea are getting better and city are getting organised. gonna be a tough season for EPL.

Agreed. People so easily forget things like, y'know, Liverpool last year. Thankfully, the PL is still the most competitive league, and will be again this year. Remember when everyone thought it was a 2-horse race between Arsenal and Chelsea, last year?

To me there are 6 contenders . 4 of them will battle it until May for sure . I do not think this year will be any much different from last year .

Liverpool losing early does not make City top contender right away . City was really good , but Liverpools defense was also very poor. So if Liverpool brings some stability at the back they should be powerful contenders .

So is Arsenal start of campaign does not mean anything . They had a worse start last season but were at the top of the table later . I still think they need another signing or two make them strong title bidders .

And Spurs seem to find their flow . Again early to tell but they look like a very strong side . Certainly visible difference in style of play compare to AVB's team .

United and Everton will create enough trouble to drop points from top clubs . And United may turn out to be title contender if again they will make few more signings before window closes .

So , no , it won't be two horse race . I like Chelsea fixtures schedule but I have yet to find out about Carling Cup , FA CUp and CL schedule .

I am very optimistic that at least one title will be in the bag , however as optimist I like to think that we are very serious CL contenders .

Realistically, there will only be 2-3 contenders in the end. Now it may seem like 5-6, but after Christmas, we will see the true contenders take the lead.

This is not sounding good for City, Chelsea looks great and the January month could definitely kill City hopes.
