Chelsea 4 - 0 Man Utd

Mourinho came back to London 4 nothing haha. What an absolute hammering. Well played Chelsea! Terrible performance from the Red Devils. They were simply run off the pitch.

Top 4 this season is looking like it will be a miracle.
Strange homecoming for Jose. He's up to his neck now. It will take all the special one powers to dig deep and get back to the drawing board. Defense is really all over. Smalling played an impressively bad game. Was Pogba even on the pitch? Of course he can't do it himself. But what they paid for him, that's

CR7 money!! Come one. Surely. He's going to keep getting the pressure to perform because of the pricetag.

Last game against Liverpool they played with a small team mentality against a good but not great team. This game has just added more questions than answers.

Kante, what a smashing bargain. Well played Chelsea!

Agree with Ktbffhswe, City will bounce back but then I don't agree on Barca game, Barca lost Piqué and Alba and feeded their B defense still didn't conceded a goal, and defensive mistakes are part of the performance, you cant play for CL first place and commit amator mistakes.
But City is not in crisis, they lost their brain in midlefield KDB is the most important player at City, followed by El Kun.
Pep is an amazing tactician, but poor in term of human relationships, already in trouble with Kun, he may win PL this season but he won't last long there.
Interesting to see how Conte And Klopp teams will improve this season, Arsenal silently getting consistence, Mustafi-koscienly works well, the bad run of City made other clubs back on track in the league race.

@tiki_taka To be fair, Umtiti is really solid for Barcelona most of time, I'm starting to think if he progress, he will be first choice in the team in no time. Ah, but you were most likely talking about Digne and Mathieu. Barca really starting to have tons of french player in their defense now. Its great. :D

Umtiti is a solid and a talented '' youngster '', he has no experience and Barça cant pretend to CL yet with a youngster as a Cb. He costed France the Euro final by giving EDER 2 meters freedom to fire the winning shot. a solid defense needs years to settle, the 2 Cbs need time to understand each others and to anticipate teammates moves, its a team work and looking to teams Barça will face in CL final stage its not a good idea to change the defense hierarchy despite Piqué commiting mistakes and Mascerano on decline, you just cant gamble when you are a contender....
I have a little hope on Umtiti but Digne, for me it was a transfer mistake, he doesnt do the right choices wich should be the first quality of a Barça player, crosses when there is nobody making the run, shoot when he should cross, hope he will adapt to new standarts in training....
when i saw Hummells moving for 37mil and Benatia loaned with a buy clause, i just was upset on the transfermarket of Barça, none of the buys look close to making it to the starting XI : Paco Alcacer struggling, Andre Gomes good player but not technically gifted enough to make it, Umtiti and Digne well look to their palmares, never player a CL quarter in their life...

im not being harsh, im realistic and its such a waste when you Have MSN upfront, Barça were lucky to have a Legend still fighting for the starting place with the same hunger at his age in Iniesta, but he was just injured for 3 month.

City has no excuses, they face Mascerano-Umtiti in Cb, Digne-Sergi Roberto ( i love him ) in the wings and a fragile midlefield with an off form Busquets, Rafinha just back from a 7 month injury and a consistent Rakitic.

City got back their brain KDB and only Bravo is missing wich is not crucial knowing his actual form, they just have no excuses at home.

For the French, yeah Abidal oppened the way :) but im more interested in results than having a French touch at Barcelona, i would have sold all the French to bring Hummells or Thiago Silva.

@tiki_taka Well, at least, if Umtiti can learn, improve and get experience, he can be there for a long time, Thiago is getting a tiny bit too old in my opinion. Mats Hummels could have been the best choice but Mats didn't give a lot of chance to other team and went out of his way to go to Bayern, I'm guessing the lad was getting homesick. :P Also, please don't remind of the Euro final, I still sometime feel sad over the result. :( But seriously, wich is best between Mascherano and Umtiti in your opinion?

Actually Hummells was linked to Barca each transfermarket for 3 years or more, he waited a lot for a move that never came. Barca finally signed Mathieu And the chances to attract him was over. Even if Barca wanted to sign this summer he would have refused and its understandable.
The problem of the Cb position at Barca is that it's part of the tactic to have accurate passing and a good vision wich put Silva, Chiellini And Hummells as the best choices, Marquinhos or Varane are impossible to sign, they went for Mathieu who had a good season with Valencia and match a little the demand. But it didn't really work.

You right @emobot7 not all united fans . About 99% of them but not all .

@tiki_taka I get that unlucky vibe from Mathieu to be fair. I mean, he look decent (without being as good as some other top cb) but he seem like the kind of guy who attract bad luck to himself and his team. Also, you didn't answer my final question. :P Mascherano or Umtiti?

@Marcus2011 You do realize there is propably not 100 manchester united fan on the forum, right? Wich mean if a single of them didn't tell you that, it mean there a bit less than 99% of them. :P So maybe more like 95% or 90%. XD

Here's another stat after today's game.

Since the start of last season, Antonio Conte has as many Premier League wins as Jose Mourinho.

The "special" is surely fading and the "Normal" is rising.

Eden Hazard is bloody sensational, Costa, pedro, Moses, Alonso and Kante are also amazing. The 3-4-3 is working hella fine of Antonio Conte. Pretty sure passionate Coaches will be on sales markets from now on.

@Rayrex Isn't the normal one Klopp though? XD

Yup, He is on top of tbale isnt he. The comment was on Mou going down lately and Klopp taking full advantage on the leagues performance.

Thou I am pretty sure Hazard will work pretty well under Klopp, both seem to enjoy football as a sport more than a job.

@Rayrex Lad, Klopp is Liverpool manager and it is Conte that is Chelsea manager. XD
