Relax . Rejected already.
@Mladen, I think Barca said that they will reply to the offer when they get a manager and will let him decide, which will probably be during this week. But still, they will probably reject.
@Ramaboy that's correct but Arsenal's clause in this case is overridden because the bid exceeds £26 million.
Makes sense that it would be rejected seeing as they already sold off Thiago, and selling another world-class midfielder would be dumb.
But in the event that they do sell Fabby off, they would make back whatever money they spent on Neymar and could possibly buy someone else. Not the most conventional idea ever but it could work. It's all hypothetical.
Fabregas will not leave, we don't have any replacement for this post and Thiago already left, the player wants to stay another year to decide after what he's doing, and what makes me confident about that ? We favorise the competition over money: We could sold Villa in January to Arsenal for 12M but Barça refused the offer to have more plans for CL, and it didn' t work...
I like David Moyes but F*** you just leave fab alone we wont sell two world class midfield on the same window. Plus i heard that the contract fab signed has clauses one of them is i think a 50% will be given to Arsenal if we sell hi
and also who is in the right mind will sell fab in his first day as a barcelona manager?
@ikoiko: I refer you to my answer here: http://footyroom.com/forum/transfer-rumors/manchester-united-seeing-fabregas-in-red-49570
As far as I know, your understanding of the clause is incorrect.

Also I'd like to add one more thing. IF for some reason Barca were stupid enough to allow (let aside push) him to leave, and if by some miracle Wenger decided that he didn't want a star player he created in his own image, or if for some reason Cesc wanted to go to another club beside Arsenal...
WHY WOULD HE EVER GO TO UNITED? This is a guy who "allegedly" threw a pizza at Fergie, tossed a United shirt he was given by a player after a match on the pitch, and just liked a picture of an Arsenal player taking out CR7 on Instagram just last week? He doesn't like United, in fact Id argue he downright disdains them. He wouldn't countenance playing for Fergie, so how much less would he, David Moyes?
I don't know what United is up to or what their true angle is but, and you can hold me to this, I think there's as much chance of Cesc joining United as there is of Arsenal signing Ronaldo.

You do realize you're describing a petulant, unsportsmanlike little tit, right?
Just wanna make sure... ;)
Yes I am aware. TBF, he was a child at the time and this was at the height of the Arsenal United animosity. He was a firey bugger but one that's mellowed substantially with guidance and maturity. Still, he did what he did. No hiding that.
I'm just punching yer arm, is all. ;)
Well, you just never know really.
@Footaholic, perhaps it is. Just read it on the web.
It seems that David Moyes has upped his previous offer, and thrown a £30 million bid at Barcelona for Cesc Fabregas. This also means that Moyes has surpassed Arsenal's first buy-back option, which was a set value of £26 million.
I really hope Fabby has some balls and overall decency to decline this move, that is if this story is true.
Opinions people? @Footaholic, can you shed some light on this matter?
