Brendan Rogers, are you kidding me?

Brendan Rogers told Arsenal that they have to pay 78m to get him. No, just no. D: . He's not better than Cavani, so why should he be more expensive. Plus, we all know Suarez will play at 100%, but, only as long as he gets what he wants. And he wants to go to Arsenal, or leave the club, which means that he won't be promising for Liverpool. If Liverpool don't sell him now, and Arsenal actually get him later, then they'll have less time to get a replacement. I really don't know if Arsene should get him.

78M is ridiculous. Arsene would never pay that much so don't worry.

I'd love to see Suarez at Arsenal. He'd be a great addition and him at his best could surely guide Arsenal to a top 2 finish. Arsene seems really keen on him too after willing to offer 40M (highest ever for him). I can see a bid of 50M and if rejected a follow up of 53M max.

I'd love watching him and Cazorla dominate. Assist, then goal, assist, then goal, assist, then goal.

Lol ^^

If he does come to Arsenal I sure hope he cleans up his act. 78M is focking bonkers.

Maybe then Arsene will go after Bale and bid 10m + a bag of crisps for him

I'm preparing myself mentally to be a laughing stock for my team after this transfer window.

Has actually anyone seen Suarez play when he is on fire? He DOMINATES the opponent's defense and fu**s the defense up (sorry for my diction :P). Now I know 78m is by far too much and everything above 60m would be ridiculous I have to say he is better than Cavani.

I won't mention any stats but in these points Suarez is better than his fellow-countryman:

Suarez often showed a very good eye for goal and showed that in the BPL (I'm sure he would have finished as the top goalscorer of last season but his behaviour is always in between)

Suarez is very versatile. He plays as a Left Winger, Attacking Mid, Right Winger, False Nine, Second Striker or normal striker.

He is an endless working machine and has this modern "winning mentality".

His only weak point is his behaviour. Biting another footballer is completely unnecessary and disgusting. Maybe he dives and argues too much with referees but who doesn't?

Please, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say Cavani is not a top class player but just that Suarez is in some ways a better striker than him. Also, 63m for Cavani was excessive, but okay, PSG have money they want to spend it.

@Ihaveabbc

I agree with you there mate. But the advantage of Cavani is that he has the body of a perfect target man. He's big, strong, insanely fast, and has ridiculous stamina. This gives him an edge over Suarez physically, but Suarez is the better player technically, like you said. They're two different players, but I guess if Napoli can have the guts to demand 55 M pounds for Cavani, L'pool have the same rights to demand 55 M pounds for Suarez. But anything more would be a rip off.

If Carroll is worth 35 mil in the eyes of Daglish then I guess Suarez is worth every penny lol.

the only club interested in Suarez service is Arsenal but if Perez fail on signing Bale this summer then expect Perez will spend money on Suarez

Shame on me, but, even if he isn't for 78m, we should still go for that offer, or 58m.

I agree that he is better than cavani, but people need to remember that £50m is huge ! I think that considering his antics, his price should be between £45m and £50m max. If there is a possibility of a player missing 13 games in a season for being an ugly c*nt, if should affect his value. The sad thing is that right now, there isn\'t a lot of strikers for us to turn to if we don\'t get Suarez, and Liverpool can ask tons of money cause we are desperate for a world class striker. In my opinion it would still be wiser to overpay for Suarez rather than spend next season without a top top class striker. But really, I can see how him being a massive ugly c*nt makes the decision really hard to make for Wenger.

^^^ My thoughts exactly. The reasons why his price tag is so high are that another PL team wants him, and Liverpool would be affected big time. Coutinho would only have Sturridge to deliver those lovely balls to, no pun intended.
