Brendan Rodgers has quickly gone from hero to zero with Liverpool fans after a terrible start to the season.The Liverpool manager has also been criticised after last year claiming Spurs should be challenging for the title having spent £100m.Having spent £120m this summer, Liverpool fans are within their rights to expect much better from a side that have lost 4 of their opening 10 Premier League games.Brendan Rodgers has a terrible record in the transfer record since joining Liverpool, with Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho his only successes.£225m spent since 2012 with not very much to show for it.

He's not the best transfer guy, that's ok, but he has dragged Liverpool from far behind back to the top flight... on paper Liverpool still not a strong force and so in real life...

But what he did last season can't save it forever, he must fix what's happening now. I dont like the fact that Liverpool fans' blaming him too quickly, but he made to wrong choice to find the right one to replace Suarez...

You know who has a terrible record of things? You, with your comments and forum posts.

First, players that came in on loan and left don't count much. Second, a lot of players on that list are on loan or have recently come back from a loan and thus haven't had any real time to play. Third, you can add Joe Allen to to that list of Coutinho and Sturridge. Fourth, you can't count recent, 2014 signings a failure just yet. I could go on, but I know it's because you're a Madrid fan and your brain can only process instant success, but look at the United fan above, you see how being a little lower than usual made him more humble? Just a little piece of advice from someone much older than you.

Rodgers did exactly same mistake as Spurs, sold one of the best player in this world and bought a lot of average players.

yeah, BleacherReport ... great, great pieces of journalism! Nearly as good as Metro, DailyMail, Bild (Germany) or Marca.

i don't know about BleacherReport,whether it is good or not,but this article it's all true.But i am not saying that Brendan is bad,he is the best manager of Liverpool in these last years.But he made a big mistake,by letting Suarez go,and buy these ''players''!

No manager in the world would let the most on-fire striker in the world go. BR would have never let him go. Fact. After the bite on Chiellini Liverpool's board had to let him go because they just couldn't stand behind him anymore. It is bad for the reputation of a club if all these incidents occur again and again.

The only thing I have to agree is that some players have been utter rubbish for Liverpool but you must not forget that there are some of them who have done really well.

I think this is very valid fact, that needs to be looked at. Those strikers cost ~75m which means that he could've bought 2 TOP CLASS strikers for that price. CBs cost ~40m, which means again that they could've got 1 TOP CLASS CB and 1 cheap but great backup CB to play with Skrtel or Agger(which they sold).

In those buys, most of them have huge potential, that have to be said. And wage is probably big part why they don't buy TOP TOP class players, it's hard to pay +250k week for lots of players. But what I find important is that you have potential in your squad, but also players who can provide right now.

@ihaveabbc Bleacher report is terrible, but this has nothing to do with it, because facts are facts.
@quikzyyy agree.
@tuan yep agree, Rodgers has done REALLY well at Liverpool. Those comments about kicking him off are fucking harsh. Most of them are probably trolls anyway sadly.
