why the hell would Al Habsi be the worst? i think i should remind you that he's in net for Wigan Athletic.. a team with one of the worst defences in the premier league for the past 3 years.

I can't get down with him being better than Kompany, though. :p

Also, I'd get rid of Walcott up front, and go for 4-3-3, with Carrick, Mata and Cazorla in the midfield, and a front 3 of Bale, Suarez and RVP.

(also Zabaleta goes in before Rafael, for me).

Worst Middlefielder Modric (Real) ...should have gotten more out of him, maybe next season
Worst Winger Feghouli (Valencia) ..making the team play slower and worse, cant shoot for ****..
Worst Forward LLorente (Osasuna) ..scored 1 goal in 24 games

Surprise team of the season: REAL SOCIEDAD

Proving that a real team strategy slowly built through 3-4 years with a good group can make fortune, this is the opposite of ex. PSG but my god i think La Real would be able to beat PSG 6 matches of 10 if they play this good

Negative Surprise: DEPORTIVO

Back in the Primera from their first season in the Segunda in a long time, when they get back they do this, now its back down again from the former European top team, They failed to do what La Real did, create a good group spirit with a well worked team strategy

Bad Luck -- Valencia and Malaga:

Valencia missed out on CL, some say its much because of the extremely bad ref in the Sevilla vs Valencia game where Valencia were not awarded a clear penalty plus the red card where it maybe wasnt even a yellow. I say its a mix of this and Pellegrinos bad coaching that made us lose the CL spot this season when we wanted to close the Gap to Barca and Real

Malaga missed out on a CL-Semi on stoppage time and got an injustice ban from European play next season

Goals....

this is not my list but

this Goal of the season for me.. (its not the finish, its the 5-6 passes leading up to it and Tinos chip)

Modric was one of Madrid's best players in the second half of the season; far from worst midfielder in the league.

yeah but i was thinking of the expectations there... He could have been going for beeing a full time starter

@knibis: I'm surprised you put João Pereira as the best right back and best signing in the league. I heard from fellow La Liga fans that he's been pretty good, but I never knew he's been THAT good for Valencia? Good news in that case!

The reason I'm bringing this up is because he was really poor for Portugal in the recent games vs Russia and Croatia (although we didn't concede any goals and won them both), looking incredibly lazy and unfocused with the ball. I was really disappointed in his last two performances for the national team, especially as he was one of the most entertaining right backs in the Euros. Really hope he doesn't turn into a Bosingwa.

Perhaps it was just a drop in form though. A short one, hopefully.

He is the only player who has been injury free that has been good all season for Valencia, Hes the best right back we've had in years and we got him for just 3 million Euros from Sporting CP :) #Bargain
