If by 'hero' you mean 'classless and cheap', then sure. But hey, that does seem to be par for the course over at your place. Still recall how classy it was when you threw pizza at SAF.

Walcott is a funny guy, but is he injured or is it just for the show ?

Oh please. He'll be back next weekend, I'm pretty sure. He spent most of the 2nd half rolling around to try and get the game stopped when Spurs went forward.

@Lodatz Spurs fans were booing him for being injured, he was getting back at them. And then they threw coins at him. Talk about classless right ? And it's a NLD, if you can't take banter then fuck off. Just get over the fact that North London is red.

@netsten he DID injure his knee, and it looked pretty bad, long term injury most likely.

@KingHenry: Bollox, mate. Find me something that says coins were thrown at him. And when he 'miraculously' recovers in time for your next game (just like he did 4 times today), maybe you'll understand why he was being booed. He has no class, and showed it yet again. 'Can't take that banter', yourself.

^
@kinghenry He looks pretty good on the cam, with a big smile, and he even found the time to mock the spurs fans. That's why I asked...

Either way, Sherwood would be delighted with the result.

Bwahaha.

Another highlight was the fans singing "tim sherwood is a gooner", he's probably celebrating right now

Walcott's intent did have an antagonistic approach but there is clear proof all over the net that objects were thrown at Walcott. I can think of many other things that are more classless than merely reminding fans of what the score is.

"Walcott reacted by raising his fingers to remind Spurs fans of the 2-0 scoreline in the Third Round FA Cup tie which appeared to incite them further."

Walcott, he cant even walk but has the smile for wining the derby... Heroic atitude. Insulting an injured player while he gave everything for his team is a little childich from those Spurs fans.
Get well soon Walcott, your team needs you.

Better win at Old trafford in EPL and lose in Fa cup, Tottenham could not win FA cup this year anyway.

Further more Walcott's actions in no way harmed or offended any of the travelling Spurs fans or anyone. There was no aggression pointed towards them either. He could have flipped them off (like Wilshere) but he chose not to. Therefore I see nothing but a sufficient response to those opposing fans.
