10 Movies I'd definitely recommend to others (in order of how good I think they are)...

  1. Schindler's List
  2. The Godfather Part II
  3. Raging Bull
  4. The Godfather
  5. Taxi Driver
  6. Goodfellas
  7. The Departed
  8. Chinatown
  9. The Dark Knight
  10. Saving Private Ryan

Schindler's List is an absolute must-watch. One of the greatest films of all time, exceptionally directed, brilliant cast, based on a true story (film made from the stories of people who went through that experience), and immensely emotional as well. Takes place in Poland during WW2 and follows the story of Oskar Schindler: a man who is credited of saving the lives of 1100 J e w s (why is this word blacklisted?) during WW2. The film was made from interviews and stories of the J e w s who were rescued by Schindler, and Spielberg agreed to make the film. Liam Neeson was cast as Oskar Schindler, Ralph Fannes as Amon Goeth, and Sir Ben Kingsley as Itzhak Stern.

If you're into classics, then Chinatown, the two Godfather films, Raging Bull, and Taxi Driver would be your best picks. More recent films would be The Departed and The Dark Knight.

I've always heard of Schindlers list, but I've seen it's 195 minutes long, and never got around to watching it, but I will definitely make time because I've heard it's a must watch film. Taxi Driver I need to watch as well, Scorsese is one of my favorite directors as well, forgot to mention him.

@TheGame

I've heard good things about Psycho, but I don't watch horror movies due to the fact that I get scared much too easily. How are the horror elements in Psycho (if at all)?

The horror elements are similar to slasher films with lots of suspense. There are scenes where the victim is stabbed, but that is mitigated by the fact that the film is in black and white and the scenes aren't that explicit or visually disturbing to the eye. I would definitely watch it just for the twist ending (not going to spoil it for you). I have seen very few movies directed by Hitchcock, but I got to say this was my favorite.

Not wanting to be a party crasher, but Spielberg is one of the most biased directors in the world, never respect History, i wont comment more but Schindler list isnt Historically correct, saying why can throw me into jail by French laws...

*1- The promise*** : Peter Kosminsky
2- The godfather.
3- Django. ( First movie to make a slave get his revenge on his masters, nobody told you that its not white people who had slave but a special community who arent christians, only 2% of whites owned black people comparing to 40% of this community, thats almost 1 family out of 2, 9 slave sheaps out of 10 were owned by this community as well, make researches, good researches )
*4-
Adolph H*tler : The greatest story never told* ( available on youtube but will be censored soon as usual )
5- Pulp Fiction
6- Snatch
7- Sin City
8- Gladiator
9- Shutter Island
10- Catch me if you can
11- Hannibal lector
12- Braveheart
13- Qu' est ce qu' on a fait au bon dieu pour mériter ça.
14- Les 3 frères.
15- Kill Bill
16- Silence of the lambs.
17- Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
18- Desperado
19- Green mile
20- The Shawshank Redemption
21- Trueman show.......

the list is long, some movies reminds me my childhood like, How high, transpotting or Human traffic, Harry potter,
Some movies that i like knowing that History isnt respected and their use for modern manipulation of minds : 300 ( Anti Iranian propagand for future attack ), Full metal jacket and other marins movies, Pearl Harbor.....

Many movies but not in mind, best actors, Morgan Freeman, Antony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Edward Norton, Jason Statham, Leonardo Dicaprio, Antonio Banderas, Bruce Willis...

Directors : Tarantino, Roberto Rodriguez, Hitchcock...

I recomend the 2 movies in black to understand the world better than what school teached us...

Once you know the truth of what happened, life would be never the same...

3 Historians judged for 2 years of jail, for showing their researches about the red zone of ww2, the zone that nobody should question or ask questions...
No one has ever debated or were able of against them, one last Historian Vincent Reynouard was judged 3 years of jail for posting a video in youtube, im not making fun of it its really serious, French socialists are a dictatorship, they even have a political police who kich people who protest, first humouristic show banned in Europeen History in 2014 for illegal reasons, abusing justice and not listening to people...

They wanted to Americanize French population with lowering school programs, promoting the urban culture with rap, reality shows, stupid programs, sexual liberation, the people of France are refusing and Internet made their plan fail as they can control TV and Press, they have no monopoly in internet, many people woke up in France and its making the government scared and very aggressive... ( Government of today is just a doll in the hands of the financial community )...

If you got time, it lasts 6 hours, make your own idea and look to it with an open mind and you will understand how the world worked from this period till now...

The guy in person spent his whole life doing researchs on the subject, he gave a full documented and argumented work, got no replies, not debate, a law was made specially to shut him down, he got his bank account blocked and ruined by fines, he was fired from his University proffessor job, 2 years of jail, the price of telling the truth...

He knew he wouldnt be hosted with rewards and flowers, he said it because he knew it was the truth and people should know it, thats an honorable act that you wont understand, let even pay the price of it... ( got stamped many times )

But all you see in what i wrote is an occasion to jump on me, like a weak Hyenas waiting for a weakness, in real life you're probably even worse.

Edit : anyway its not a place to discuss History here, if you' re even interested in having a private conversation go into my wall, we can share view even i know yours, i had the same couple of years ago, beven if i think you just have a personnal issue with me, i dont have any with you...
