hmmm I would still prefer Michel Vorm to Valdes.

Good for Arsenal! We at least owe them one decent player!
ramaboy i think valdes is not a decent player! even pinto is better!
Valdes not a decent player? I think he is as good as Hart. I think Hart is overrated. To me, the top three keepers in EPL are Lloris (Spurs) and Cech, then Cesar barely beats Hart on my list.
Hart aint overrated watch his saves vs Borussia dortmund
Videos are a stupid way to argue. They concentrate too much on one point, which in your case is his fails. Why don't you search up some positive videos and see how truly good he is?
ok heres one for you these are simple easy saves for a amateur keeper
That was uploaded in 2007. Here is a decent one I found in a couple seconds. An overview of last year for the best 1v1 keeper in the world.
"An overview of last year for the best 1v1 keeper in the world."
Please tell me you're joking, tdot... :p
I'm with Lodatz on this one. Seriously, have you forgotten Torres vs Valdes last season in the CL?
(just as a side note: that video is not the best of 2012 -- he has hair in half of the clips. Looks like the 'best ever', made in 2012)
Okay not the best but one of the best, top 5 for sure.
& Yeah I remember it perfectly along with Neville's annoying voice. Still you can't expect him to save every 1 on 1.
The thing about Valdes is that he's either 100% focused or not focused at all, never in between.
valdes has great distribution. I know most people will only remember his fails (the one against di maria had me laughing for hours) but he is still one of the great keepers in europe. Still I think fabianski can get his form back if he stays fit and give szcz the competition he needs for developing. Don't really think we'd need valdes
Valdes is nowhere near Hart. Remember how Hart and Kompany almost single-handedly kept City's defense alive in 2011-12? Just because Hart's not been in good form this season doesn't change the fact that he's one of the best keepers in the world. Valdes won't even make the top ten for me. Here's my top ten (no order).
Casillas, Buffon, Hart, Lloris, Neuer, Begovic, Courtois, Akinfeev, Mandanda, and Handanovic.
@Dynast: No Cech? O.o
@ Dynastian
I'm not even going to bother... you are just a sheep and a follower of people who criticize players for the fun of it. You are crazy if you think Valdes, Cesar, and Cech don't go on that list.
Szczesny is better than him .
Its all opinionated and surely each of our views are scewed by memes and media. Valdez is an amazing keeper. Like tdot said people mostly focus on his mistakes not his class saves.
@Lodatz
My bad >.<
It was a list i made in 10 seconds. :P
Yeah, Cech would go on that list.
and @tdot
Says the guy who always gloats about how Barcelona are the best and how they have the "best defense in the world", and more recently, "best 1v1 goalkeeper in the world". I criticize YOU because you are so oblivious to other teams and players.
Arsenal, Barcelona transfer news: Victor Valdes has told Arsene Wenger he wants Gunners transfer
Arsenal are looking for some experienced competition for Wojciech Szczesny, according to the report, and the 31-year-old is keen on being that man.
Valdes told Barcelona earlier this season that he would not be signing an extension to his contract, which expires in the summer of 2014.
The report claims Wenger is mulling over an £8.5million bid for the Spain international as he looks for a more experienced campaigner.
Szczesny was the unquestioned number one at Emirates Stadium up until this week when he was dropped for the Champions League last 16 second leg with Bayern Munich.
I just hope this is is only rumour, I can't see Valdes in Arsenal no way!
