Kind of Upset at Jordan's draw but both us and Syria's back's were against the wall in a neutral unfamiliar venue so both teams got a fair result.

proud of the men.

^Hahahah, I had NO IDEA Hossam Hassan was the manager of Jordan. WOW.

@Enjoyeneer: he was one of the most prolific strikers in African history. I personally thought he wasn't the most technically gifted striker but his head was like a heat seeking missile! So to answer your questions, he is undoubtedly a legend of both Egypt and al Ahly but I'm not sure what his credentials are as a manager. He was a bit of a trouble maker as a player, as big timers often are.

I know of him Enjoyneer and i know of his work, im very excited that he has taken the reigns and i see good things.

I just hope he can handle the much different style of play we are used to and be able to mix that and his own style and handle the constant demand of the supporters for good preformance.

@COYS- Again, I have no idea how he is as a manager (I just found out from my cousin that he manged Zamalek (Al Ahly's ugly little sister) and did well with them but if I had to guess, I'd be most concerned about his man-management more than his style (he played on exciting attacking teams so he'd most likely try to adopt that style.... although that isn't always the case).

OK, well I just watched that video you posted and the FW ran halfway across the field along with his teammates to celebrate with Hassan, so... I guess they get along.

BTW, perhaps V or Iron could maybe add their 2 cents about his management?

I don't know much about his management but I'm sure some of my relatives know more since I'm half Egyptian and half Jordanian. I could possibly ask them later today.

EDIT: He was a class player though.

@iraqi_madridsta

there were some rumors claiming that Saudi Arabia gave up the final match to Iraq, to raise Iraqi people spirits a little bit after the war, what do you think?

I Definitely disagree with that ENJOYNEER because Saudi Arabia is a football crazy country and the supporters are always demanding of the team and i don't think the Saudi players would of wanted to throw that game,, and u can see by the way the Saudi players were so upset at the end of that game with the tears and there heads down in sadness that there was no throwing of the match there.
